fact sheet for october is in TD site. and it says esys belongs to TD and not TTSL

TD investor just expect a conventional P/E and nothing more(or the company must be closed). Here people just come to ridicule....

Please check the note near that shedule F(it refers to Q (Notes 1.9)).
It talks about transfer of assets. If teledata has 18 cr shares then total number of TD Tech shares can be only 9 crores(since ratio was 2:1).
But it`s actually 14 cr. So as bababull said maybe this transfer of assets results in equity dilution and TD Info holds that extra equity. That`s around 6 crores shares

Dear mcprasanth When a company is demerged, the shareholders of that company get shares in the demerged company in some ratio. In this cased TD was demerged and TTSL and TMSL were formed. While imcorporating TTSL TD had invested in 50 Lac shares of TTSL, which is shown in schedule F under investments. Subsequently, assets and liabilities of the demerged division were transferred to this new company TTSL (Sch Q 1 vii) Now, post demerger, TD will continue to hold 50 lac shares in TTSL. Quite separately, TDs promoters will get shares in TTSL in the ratio because they hold shares in TD. However, for TD (Company) to hold more shares than 50 Lac, TTSL has to issue additional shares to TD. This is not mentioned anywhere. TD cannot hold more than 50 lac shares in TTSL purely by way of demerger. Because of delerger the parent company does not automatically get any shares in teh demerged company. If that was so, then the only way would have been if TD held its own shares as imvestments, which is not permitted. So this whole thing abt TD holding 6 crore shares in TTSL is one more mystry which is available only on this board. This mystry will only be clear if we see the investment schedule of TD as of 31 March 2008, which ihope will be out in a months timefrom now, because they cant delay the AGM beyond 31 Dec, in any case.
