Really!!... dude have you really seen the future??... "Hold it for few days it will shoot up to 520Rs levels so that you can sell off or wait for those days in Indian markets to fetch more than 1000Rs for it. But that could be some 6-7month"... such crappy statements without any reasoning. Its just disgusting to see such postings without any sense of respect for investing as an activity involving some thought.

This is the best time to buy Axis Bank.
Currently this is the only banking stock that could fecth you some quick bucks...this one is suited for trading and investments...Buy if its less than 450Rs and to stop loss sell if goes below 390Rs. Hold it for few days it will shoot up to 520Rs levels so that you can sell off or wait for those days in Indian markets to fetch more than 1000Rs for it. But that could be some 6-7months down the line. So in case you wanna make more hold or sell of when it reaches some 520Rs levels.

Looking to the weakness in the share, it is quite likely that it could come below 350/-.

I disagree that it`s all about sentiment as far as private sector banks are concerned. In the last 3-4 years during economic upswing, the private sector bank`s were outperforming both in terms of their stock prices and growth in profitability. Banking is all about taking risk and earning return. PSU by their conservative nature ( which is probably because of lack of ability to attract the so called new-age,smart bankers because of salary difference) followed the traditional banking activities unlike their Pvt Sector couonterparts who in their urge to grow fast took on more risks. While the going was good, they earned good returns by taking these higher risks. But when the economic cycle turns down like it has now, the same bets are going to work against them. Do not go by their current EPS , Net Interest margins and NPAs. NPAs will rise for these banks by next FY because of the definition of how a loan becomes classified as NPA. It will come down more in case of Pvt Sector banks than their PSU counterparts. For most of these private sector banks, this will be their first economic downturn after a prolonged economic boom. How they cope with this is what will differentiate boys from men. Until the picture becomes clear, they will underperform PSU Banks....

Exit. as it is expected to to see new low around 285 - 325. Or wait for a relief rally in a day or two, if and only if at all it happens.
