Kesar Enterprises Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on September 19, 2008 the following business was transacted: (1) Recommended payment of Dividend @ 1% on 20,00,000 Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares for the years 2006-07 and 2007-08 and a Dividend of Re.0.50 per share i.e. 5% on 67,90,915 Equity Shares Equity Shares of the Company. 2) The Annual General Meeting of the Company will be held on October 31, 2008. 3) The Register of members & Share Transfer Books will remain closed from October 27, 2008 to October 31, 2008 both days inclusive for the purpose of ascertaining the Shareholders entitled for the Dividend. 4) The Board has approved the proposal of restructuring of business of the Company including Demerger and also appointment of Consultants in the matter. Further the Company has submitted to the Exchange the audited statement of Financial Results in the prescribed form for the year ended June 30, 2008.
