My dear , they never paid any dividend in their lifetime . Yes , they had declared it couple of times but investor never got it . One more thing , 20 % dividand on 10 paid up works out rupees 2 not rupee 1 ....

even if they find good amount of oil, videocon holds just 12.5% stake and also it will take few years to ramp up the production. So the amount of profit will not be huge.
One can get the estimate from production levels of near by finds of the block also calculating and comparing Cairn india and selan exploration output....
