You have taken a right decision of SIP in top 200 fund. It is a good fund. You can see that NAV as on 7th jan 2008 (when market was around 21k) was 173.75 and as on 1st Dec 09 mkt is at 17300 levels but still NAV is aound 178.98. Sensex still down by 3500 points. ...

Dear Manmarandmf, Plz. don`t get fool by thinking that High NAV means the fund is a costly one. Infact High NAV shows the strength of past performance. If HDFC Top 200`s Current NAV is around 180 Rs.what `ll u say for the NAV of Rel. Growth Fund which is around 400 Rs. If u want to invest in HDFC Top 200, Plz. do it but thru SIP or STP. Just FYI - I personally hold both of the above mentioned fund. Regading Rel. Eq. i had already advised u in my prev. post. Here again my choice `ll be to invest ur redemption money from Rel. Eq. to HDFC Top 200 &/or DSP Top 100. Thanks Ashal ...

Dear Mamarand mf, Apart from HDFC Top 200, all other funds of ur portfolio belongs to Rel. AMC, it`s not a fair diversification. Even in case of Rel., Rel. Eq. & Rel. RNRL`s performance is not ok. better to book ur profits if any (or loss too) there & invest this money in following funds - Birla Fr`line Eq. DSP Top 100.
