I am a seasoned investor with experience at least 19 years. Seen great rise of Harshad Mehata and fall of 1992, 1994 and tech franzy and sell off of 2000 and big rise since 2003. Engineer by profession and certified financial advisor, certified energy manager and certified energy auditor. Sometimes even my Chartered Accountant take advice from me.
But this messageboard has been of great help to exchange ideas, get up to date information and process of learning continues. Answering innocent questions of investors give me a lot of satisfacction.

I fail to understand why our FM is our FM. Don't we have a better person to take care of this crucial ministry. I am not a votary of SP.
Our PM now has come out of slavery of comrades, should make up his mind to find an alternate or take this ministry himself as he is better equipped to deal with country's finances with deep knowldge of economics....

Rs.15/- for IFCI is possible only if 9000 is possible for sensex, which looks impossible under current circumstances. Doomsayers already started hiding themselves behind the bush after predicting of $250 for crude or 9000 for sensex.
But it may be advisable to find too much comfort at 15000 as our good old guv/RBI is ready with another dose of hike in the name of taming inflation.
Inflation as per my hunch will come to sense only after departure of Reddy babu. It is quite similar US fed Greenspan v/s bernanke. Though we still not know the name of our own bernanke but that appears to be a very likely possibility. ...

Open offer @ 737 opening on 16 Aug and will close on 4 Sep. Letter of offer to be dispatched on 11 aug.
The Acquirer will acquire all the shares that are validly tendered in accordance with the terms of the Offer, up to 92,519,126 equity shares at the Offer Price. The Specified Date is June 27, 2008.
Specified date is only for the purpose of determining the names of shareholders to dispatch letter of offer. But all shareholders are eligible to participate anytime before the close of offer....
