Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd has informed BSE that the following Directors of the Company have voluntarily resigned from the Board of the Company with effect from July 28, 2008 in terms of revised Corporate Governance requirement to achieve balance in the Board with equal number of non independent and independent Directors.

(i) Shri. Rajnikant B Jain - Director - Technical

(ii) Shri. Atul B Jain - Director - Marketing

The casual vacancies caused by the resignations shall be maintained till alternative appointments are finalized by the Board....

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on July 28, 2008, inter alia, for review, finalisation and approval of Unaudited accounts for the First Quarter ended June 30, 2008.
