I was also attracted by valuation figures. it is diamond in disguise. It is very difficult to locate a good stock but more difficult to resist the temptation of realising profit when it has started showing upward trend. You will be sacrificing future profits if you sell this stock to day. RIL has to call a EGM pass the 1:1 resolution. Then they will fix a record date to determine who should be eligible. Once record date is finalised it will take about 2 weeks to credit shares to investors account....

TCS gave 1:1 bonus early this year. Any bonus expectation within next 2-3 years is unrealistic....

Good analysis.I too feel valuation is fair and the stock will trade at par with Thomas Cook post list. 20-25% listing gain is a realistic expectation....

SBI has been moving within Rs.300 band and facing resistance to go forward. I think it`s a HOLD for long term investors. However traders can sell and buy again at Rs 200 lower probably.

SBI has potential to go higher level. It is still trading just over half the valuation of end largest bank ICICI. I consider fair valuation shall be about 80% of ICICI considering the negatives from govt. control. On the other hand SBI got branch network at the remotest corner of India and private sector player will take ages to achieve some thing near that scale....

The issue is fairly priced at par with Thomas Cook. Cox & King is not a new company and they are in business for past 250 years. With the rise of disposible income more and more indians will travel abroad on holiday. India tourism market offers good grouth potential for next 10 years. Therefore I think one should apply for the IPO....
