Shashank,
Thanks. Something similar to IPTV.. but IPTV just dint take off????
Oh yes i used to visit all stock boards but now i have gotten deep into the study of esoteric sciences that i find it difficult to concentrate on gross things like stockmarkets... but still manage a general analysis for my nifty bets.
I will try and give my views on them shortly.. very little time and so much to do....

its a "direct to home" DTH. Its a competitor of Reliance`s Big TV and our old Cable Operators.
Later, you`ll have just one cable coming to your home, and giving you quality channels, high speed internet, telephony, request music, and karoke music, etc. That`s what all these companies are gearing for.
By the way you have stopped visiting Jaicorp, STC, Arvind Remedies, Anil Products, and all other scripts where I used to see your comments also. They were always good. So, why don`t you give some views there too and suggest.

Subasu,
I take a spoon of flax seeds everyday... it aids in the production of HAPPY HORMONE (seratonin) in the brain!! Its difficult to chew flax seeds, they go straight down ur gullet.. best is to buy flax meal (the powdered form and sprinkle it on your sandwhiches or put it in water and gulp it down)
Yes it fights cancers and prevents cancer.

There are two specialized sciences in Ayurveda Svarodaya and Marma
Svarodaya dealing which details the proper functioning of the nadis (ethereal nerves) and their use in diagnosis and treatment.
Today only a few ayurvedic practitioners have been exposed to svarodaya and while many learn the doctrine of marma while in college, few make use of it in practice.
A marma is a point on the body beneath which vital structures, which may be physical, subtle or both intersect. Some of these points are identical with acupuncture points, and others are nearly identical. Damage to marmas by trauma from without or by metabolic imbalances within has severe and potentially fatal consequences.
Marmas apparently have been known since Vedic times. Warriors targeted marmas on their enemies to inflict maximum damage, and surgeons employed the knowledge of marmas in their treatment of such injuries.
Sushruta classified 107 marmas on the basis of the structures involved (muscles, bones, blood vessels, ligaments, nerves, joints) and regional location, dimension and consequences of injury (swift death, death after some delay, death as soon as any foreign body is extracted from the wound, disability or simply pain)
Though the practical application of the knowledge of body marmas has disappeared from most of India, it persists in the southern state of Kerala among the practitioners of the martial art know as Kalarippayattu.
In its current form, dating from approximately the 12th century A.D., Kalarippayattu is, in the words of Prefoessor Phillip Zarrilli, similar to the practice of Hatha yoga in that a set of preliminary physical exercises leads not only to extraordinary physical control, but ultimately is thought to lead to inward to discovery of more subtle aspects of the practice.

Top five countries which have more money in Swiss Banks alone:
India—- ,456 billion
Russia —$ 470 billion
UK ——-0 billion
Ukraine - 0 billion
China —–$ 96 billion
Now do the maths - India with 56 billion or .4 trillion has more money in Swiss banks than rest of the world combined. Public loot since 1947:
Can we bring back our money? It is one of the biggest loots witnessed by mankind — the loot of the Aam Aadmi (common man) since 1947, by his brethren occupying public office. It has been orchestrated by politicians, bureaucrats and some businessmen.
The list is almost all-encompassing. No wonder, everyone in India loots with impunity and without any fear.
What is even more depressing in that this ill-gotten wealth of ours has been stashed away abroad into secret bank accounts located in some of the world’s best known tax havens. And to that extent the Indian economy has been stripped of its wealth.
Ordinary Indians may not be exactly aware of how such secret accounts operate and what are the rules and regulations that go on to govern such tax havens. However, one may well be aware of ‘Swiss bank accounts,’ the shorthand for murky dealings, secrecy and of course pilferage from developing countries into rich developed ones.
In fact, some finance experts and economists believe tax havens to be a conspiracy of the western world against the poor countries. By allowing the proliferation of tax havens in the twentieth century, the western world explicitly encourages the movement of scarce capital from the developing countries to the rich.
The Tax Justice Network (TJN) published a research finding demonstrating that .5 trillion of personal wealth was held offshore by rich individuals across the globe.
The findings estimated that a large proportion of this wealth was managed from some 70 tax havens.
Further, augmenting these studies of TJN, Raymond Baker — in his widely celebrated book titled ‘Capitalism’ s Achilles Heel: Dirty Money and How to Renew the Free Market System’ — estimates that at least trillion have been shifted out of poorer countries to the West since the mid-1970.
It is further estimated by experts that one per cent of the world’s population holds more than 57 per cent of total global wealth, routing it invariably through these tax havens. How much of this is from India is anybody’s guess.
What is to be noted here is that most of the wealth of Indians parked in these tax havens is illegitimate money acquired through corrupt means.
Naturally, the secrecy associated with the bank accounts in such places is central to the issue, not their low tax rates as the term ‘tax havens’ suggests. Remember Bofors and how India could not trace the ultimate beneficiary of those transactions because of the secrecy associated with
these bank accounts?

What`s bad for the economy is good for the environment. Higher gas prices keep more people from driving and therefore decrease pollution. Higher food prices create less food waste because people budget. Fewer retail shoppers overall means fewer goods are produced and less manufacturing takes place. The energy to operate those manufacturing plants is then saved. And this energy comes mostly from coal plants that create vast amounts of carbon emissions that lead to global warming.
When employees get laid off, more trees are even saved. The average employee uses about 10,000 sheets of paper annually. That paper comes from trees.
You get the picture. The more we have to think about what we consume, the less we actually do consume. We even tend to reuse and save more during hard times. Retail stores are reporting lackluster sales. If people aren`t buying new stuff they are reusing their old stuff.
It would be nice if we saved by choice rather than force. But that hasn`t happened. We have been piggish with all of our natural resources, and have been positively gluttons with our financial resources. Is it any wonder that we are in the predicament we are in?
We cannot fully blame the government. We cannot fully blame the financial community. It`s time we blamed ourselves. We have been living in a state of blissful ignorance and selfishness for so long we are shocked and dismayed at the prospect of sacrifice, or changing our habits. Earth to mankind: stop fooling yourselves.
We are going to need to change, big time, the ways in which we go through life. We are going to have to be conscious and conscientious about our actions and the ramifications of those actions, whether it`s the wake up calls many are getting about the artificially high prices of their homes or the alarm that the climate is changing because of the increased amount of pollution we are putting into the air.
We need to open our eyes. For example, we have known for many years the world`s supply of oil is dwindling and that it is going to cost more to extract it -- where and when we can find it. Let`s not get caught up in the smoke and mirrors of more drilling in more areas on the hope -- hope! -- that more oil will come. We need to get real and by extension realize that we need alternatives, fast.
All wet
We also need to face up to the $3 trillion proposition of fixing our water infrastructure and management systems in this country, a task most politicians turn their heads away from. We waste up to 40% of the municipal water supplies in many cities because of leaks and mismanagement. With 36 states facing emergency droughts over the next five years, according to the Bush administration, mind you, we must shore up our supplies of fresh water.
Updating the Clean Water Act would be a nice start. And getting the 90 cities that dump sewage into the Great Lakes, which supply 10% of the U.S. population with fresh water, to stop are strong beginnings. But such legislation never gets enough support. Water shortages ripple into agricultural problems and food shortages.
The time to get real and heal the planet -- our natural capital -- as well as our economy -- our financial capital -- is now. They go hand in hand you know. It`s no coincidence that ecology and economy have the same prefix.
Eco comes from the Greek, oikos, which means house. We are being told in no uncertain terms to get our houses in order. Or we may lose them. The irony is that the financial crisis may help us to keep our common home, Planet Earth.

Recuperation after illness :
The body has an amazing ability to recuperate after illness, trauma, surgery or even prolonged periods of stress. But it is after illness we are at our weakest and much greater care needs to be taken with health. Age is a contributing factor in how long the body takes to recover. As we age the body’s ability to repair lessens, the immune system takes longer to respond, nutritional absorption is impaired and recovery is slower.
Steps to a quicker recovery :
Keep a positive mental attitude. While recuperating a good mental attitude cannot be underestimated. It will ensure you follow medical advice, keep up with exercise required, and helps the body to heal. There are many studies which have found the benefits of humour and laughter in recovery, as well as believing in a positive outcome and having support from family and friends. Keeping “spirits up” is very important.
Follow a healthy lifestyle, including exercise and sleep habits. After long periods of convalescence or inactivity, it is important to rebuild muscle tone and increase circulation and blood flow. Sleep is also an essential part of the body’s repair process. Fresh air and sunlight not only help the body produce much needed Vitamin D, but also assist in a positive mental attitude. Try to spend some time outdoors.

Damage to arteries due to High B.P.
........................................
Healthy arteries are flexible, strong and elastic. Their inner lining is smooth so that blood flows freely, supplying vital organs and tissues with adequate nutrients and oxygen. If you have high blood pressure, the increased pressure of blood flowing through your arteries gradually can cause a variety of problems, including:
Arteriosclerosis and atherosclerosis. The excessive pressure in your arteries from high blood pressure alters the cells of the arteries` inner lining. That launches a cascade of events that make artery walls thick and stiff, a disease called arteriosclerosis (ahr-teer-e-o-skluh-RO-sis), or hardening of the arteries. Circulating fats pass through the altered cells and accumulate to start the process of atherosclerosis. These changes can affect arteries throughout your body, obstructing blood flow to your heart, kidneys, brain and extremities. The damage can cause chest pain (angina), heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure, stroke, peripheral arterial disease and aneurysms.
Aneurysm. Over time, the constant pressure of blood coursing through a weakened artery can cause a section of its wall to enlarge and form a bulge (aneurysm). An aneurysm (AN-u-rizm) can rupture and cause life-threatening internal bleeding. Aneurysms can form in any artery throughout your body, but they`re most common in the aorta, your body`s largest artery.

Part III
The Federal Reserve`s income tax is claimed to be unconstitutional and that there are no laws which state that citizens must pay the taxThe third part is called "Don`t Mind the Men Behind the Curtain", a reference to the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. The four main wars of the United States` 20th century are argued by the film to have been started or engaged in purely to further the economic strength of a group of men. Events attempted to be exposed as fraudulent or staged are the sinking of the RMS Lusitania, the Attack on Pearl Harbor, and the Gulf of Tonkin Incident; all occurrences which carried the U.S into the First World War, Second World War and Vietnam War respectively.
According to the film, the U.S. was forced by the Federal Reserve Bank to become embroiled in these wars not to win but to sustain conflict, as it forces its government to borrow more money from the bank, with interest attached, thereby increasing the nation`s debt and the profits of those who own The Fed. The film gives a history of the Reserve, claiming it engineered the Great Depression to steal wealth from the American population and was responsible for the attempts to assassinate Louis McFadden, a congressman who attempted to impeach the Reserve.
This section also explores the possibility that there is a clandestine movement, promoted by the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, to usurp the American constitution and US dollar, by merging the United States, Canada and Mexico into a North American Union that uses a single currency, the Amero, without the ratification of Congress. This currency union would create a super-state similar to the European Union, which together with the African Union and the proposed Asian Union would gradually be merged into a One World government. The movie concludes that under such a government, every human could be implanted with a RFID microchip which would be used to monitor individuals and suppress dissent. The movie ends, however, on an optimistic note, expressing confidence in the possibility of overthrowing oppressive forces and the ultimate triumph of revolution through enlightenment.

The 9/11 attacks are shown as a staged event which has acted as a pretext for imperial mobilizationThe second part of the documentary, entitled "All the World`s a Stage", claims 9/11 was engineered to generate mass fear, initiate and justify the War on Terror, remove civil liberties from the general public, and for economic gain. The claims are followed by the immediate on-screen sourcing of clips from notable and credible television news, and clippings from notable and credible newspapers and magazines (shown on screen) to advance the claims that the United States government was warned about the impending September 11, 2001 attacks, that the planes were allowed to reach their targets, and that the World Trade Center buildings underwent a controlled demolition; basically that the events of Sept 11th 2001 were either orchestrated by, or allowed to happen by, a criminal element in the United States government. The film also gives a tour of allegedly "notable and credible media" to support the claims that six of the named hijackers are still alive, that Hani Hanjour could not have flown Flight 77 into the Pentagon, that no substantial plane wreckage was found at any of the three crash sites, that the Bush Administration covered up the truth in the 9/11 Commission Report, and that the mainstream media has failed to ask important questions about the official account

[edit] Part I
Horus left and Jesus right, both cited by the film as being "solar messiahs"The film`s first section, called "The Greatest Story Ever Told", denounces the originality of many world religions, arguing they are mainly derived from astrological myths and traditions established long before them. In furtherance of the Jesus myth hypothesis, this part argues that the historical Jesus is a literary and astrological hybrid,[6] nurtured politically in the interest of control.
Horus, the Egyptian Sun God, is introduced as having a number of attributes similar to many other religious deities which came after him, including but not limited to Attis, Krishna, Dionysus, Mithra and Jesus Christ; these attributes including virgin birth on December 25th, 12 disciples, burial for 3 days and resurrection and performing of miracles.[10]
The film offers that the explanation for these common attributes is astrology, for example: death, burial for 3 days and resurrection is cited as being based on the winter solstice, where the Sun`s peak reaches its lowest point in the sky, resides there perceivably for 3 days, and starts to move north, symbolizing the rebirth of the all-powerful creator. Another Christian-astrological similarity highlighted is the way the three stars in Orion`s belt (called the "Three Kings") align with Sirius on December 25th, the brightest star in the sky, and point to the Sun`s rise on the horizon. This is equated to the Nativity of Jesus, where three kings follow the star in the east to locate the birth of Jesus. Jesus travels with twelve disciples much like the sun and twelve constellations of the zodiac.
Christianity is then said to be a Gnostic myth, historized by the Roman Empire for social control of Europe through doctrines established at the First Council of Nicea. The Dark Ages, the Inquisitions and the Crusades are given as events which maintained Europe`s submission to The Vatican through Christianity.
The following quote is said in conclusion:
“ Christianity, along with all other theistic belief systems [...] empowers those who know the truth, but use the myth to manipulate and control societies. [...] It reduces human responsibility to the effect that "God" controls everything, and in turn awful crimes can be justified in the name of Divine Pursuit. [...] The religious myth is the most powerful device ever created, and serves as the psychological soil upon which other myths can flourish
