Bharti DTH will not come under Bharti Airtel listed entity (Like Bharti Retail or Bharti AXA JV). And if that wa steh reason for itto go up - remember it is a loss making proposition for 3 years. See two existing entrants making loss for past 3 years with much head start (TatSky and Dish TV)!
So by your own logic (though wrong) thsi is a SELL.
Also remembr telecom is a a saturated mkt now and with VOIP coming in, all ARPUs will go down tremendously.
Anyways, I would encourage you to buy, atleast then we can sell at good price!...

Telecom operator Airtel on Tuesday announced the launch of its direct-to-home (DTH) satellite television service.
The service will be available in 62 cities from October 9, a senior company official said here.
\"This is a right time for Airtel to enter the market. We are very clear at Airtel and will take over as a leader of the sector as soon as possible,\" Airtel chief executive officer and managing director Manoj Kohli said.
According to Kohli, the company\`s DTH services will have universal remote for both set top box (STB) that receives signal from the antenna, and the television set, besides other features such as high STB memory, exclusive interactive applications, onscreen games and more efficient battery.

Sell . Should go down in 3 months to less than 300

Dear friends,Sell Bharti. It shoudl go down to less than 300. My ratioanle is as follows:
1. current valuation is 140,000 Crores! Understand what this means. Rcom is valued @ 60,000 Crores. Airtel is valued @ 2.5 times.
2. Number Portability is round the corner. It has happened in US, UK and Australia and Europe. TRAi is proposing for itto start in Jan 09 (may happen in Apr 09 though). Thatimplies all sticky customers of Aritel can chose their number and leave Airtel. Number willbelong to Individual and not company.
3. Growth to go down (watch now onwards). 3G License costs to increase. Also more players coming in. You will see ARPU go down very fast now.
4. Heavily overowned stock. FIIs own this stock most and when they run, they will sell most liquid stock - redemption pressure already on MF - they too own this.
5. Promoters have taken out most money to fund other initiatives - Not linked to Airtel (like retail with Walmart and Insurance with Axa).
6. Buy TTML and sell Bharti Airtel This is a pared trade. TTMl will go up atleast 50-75% (valued @ 4000 crores) while Bharti will never go up!
Make up your mind and dont be last guy with monkey onyour back.

At the current Speed Of Trend, BHARTIARTL will become OVERSOLD (getting bearish) on 10th October, 2008, at about Rs. 701.09.
These figures may change drastically by Monday evening (29th September, 2008), depending upon the nature of cues from the US markets and the reaction of the Asian and European markets to such cues. SOT figures DO NOT make any allowance for such local or global cues.

buy bhart airtel between 765-770.......its the best price to buy.....it won't go below 725...so forget to buy below 725....and if u get it any where between 725-765 then u will be the very lucky one......just buy it.......
