Dear Ravi,
I never said you are spreading rumour etc.What I meant was such news would create stir and would die by itself and by that time the damage would have been done on the share price.
FYI there is a rumour that Reliance is eyeing for this co.and whenever this rumour gets stronger,the price goes up to 200 even.
I strongly believe in the fundas of this co.and do not think that they would be asked to shell out 30% or any such amount .to the Govt

The bank shares are such that it will still go up once the good news set's in, your friend is unfortunate in falling to the market rumors and acted on it. see Axis bank went 480 from 1200, and now recovered and gone to 750, if one beleived in Fundamental of the compnay he can remain invested or once he seen some targetted profit he can get out. Why brokerages giving SELL, BUY, and HOLD calls because if people don't play they will not make money. and share prices will not move up.
