Many stocks with good credentials are not performing at this juncture. I too wonder as to why a few of them are going up. But some time the "market" knows some thing which we, as retailers, can't know. There are some stocks like videocon, which sleeps for years and then goes up on a rocket. The reason is obvious. I know some of them which are waiting with the rockets, but the departure time is not known.
As regard to value still being there, no comments please.
Because people think that value means nothing in a bear market as they have opportunity to get them at still lower prices. You are right in saying "not an all or none market". I could see good value stocks even at 21000+ as you could see Zandu at tipping point at 13000+.
