Well, I never like to blow my own trumpet, but this is just for inquisitive people. I am just a day trader who only trades in futures lots. I also do momentum trading and mostly swing trading. I never like to trade in delivery stocks coz the investment is greater and also the brokerage is higher. However, in futures, with less money and leverage at my disposal, I manage to trade in lots much easily. I have started trading since april 2007 only, and in a matter of months made and lost a lot of money too. However, I am a fighter and will not rest until I return victorious from this episode, hence, I am delving deeper and deeper into this chasm of the markets. And mind you, its getting more and more interesting too.
For all new comers to the markets, my message to you is that it is easy to make money in the markets as there is no physical labor involved, however, the mental stress can turn out to be your worst enemy. Hence, you need a strong will and loss sustaining power to fight it out here, otherwise,it can be tough to turn out a winner. You should not run away after loosing money. Mantain a strict regimen for trading and play within your limits with strict stop losses and you may make good money here. So all the best to you all. Happy trading.

Yes nightowl,
Someone is senselessly deleting messages here on this thread left right and centre just because it does not fall into his taste. I know exactly who it is, but do not want to take up names coz that will rake up a grave. I have seen someone with ur ID on another forum - TSR. Are you the same person ?

Hello pradesh,
There is no point taking up the matter with the MOD, as it never gets heard. Messages will keep on getting deleted unless MOD does something about it. Meantime, like you said, its best to keep on posting ur messages again and again, but that again is a painful process. Its such a nuisance to see ones messages getting deleted and that too when it speaks the truth. Thanks for the ratings anyway.

Hello pradesh,
I am glad you had read my message to HLN before it got deleted by him. Yes I had addressed that message to him only and had written how he was going wrong since April of this year as he was postponing his targets every month since april. As everyone knows, now he claims his target will be met in september. Now tell me, did I abuse him, Did I offend him ? I used absolutely polite language coz I dont believe in hitting under the belt. Yet, my message got deleted within an hour of it getting posted.
I am happy that at least some boarders saw it. I am not against his targets, only his timeframe is way way off the mark always. This can impact the mind of a new trader adversely and he can end of loosing heavily in the process. We as senior members of this board need to keep a check on this by calling a spade a spade - simple. I know this message will also get deleted soon. No probs.

Hello bullsheetrules,
Thanks for your correct version of the analysis of the stock markets. You indeed are right about the yen dollar ratio. We can surely play for more upside from here. All the best to you.

Hello bullsheetrules,
I also totally agree with what you say about these BS experts. They surely have vested interests in the calls they give and most of the time, give calls in the wrong direction of the positions they have taken in order to trap the gullible small investor / trader.
If they are such experts as they claim to be, they should be knowing which way the charts are pointing after taking everything into consideration. If they cannot predict correctly, they have no right to be called experts.
Yes you are right , unofficially (great word used by you), the bull run seems to have just started. The run up till here was due to most probably other reasons of short covering or whatever. Now if conviction at these levels returns with high volumes, one can safely assume that we are on our way to our old glory.
However, the global picture leaves a feeling of butterflies in ones stomach. I was reasearching through global business sites and found that germany which is the largest exporter in the world has shown consistent slowing down of exports since the last seven months. In fact, in june, its exports have fallen 8.4 % year on year. That was the reason, why DAX was deep in red on friday, which however recovered sharply as crude prices fell as the olypics got underway. Italy has downgraded its growth, so has singapore , Japan and India. In the US, now the prime mortgage after the sub-prime mortgage is showing an increase three fold in defaulters which shows a deeper problem in their housing markets. The euro has fallen to its four year lows against the dollar as punters are betting that their central bank will have to raise thier interest rates now as thier economies slow down. Hence, the dollar has rallied and people are getting out of the safe haven of crude, thus resulting in its falling prices. Now these stories dont leave any place for rejoice. Hence, am a little apprehensive about the future. Do you think, India will keep on overlooking these negative factors and follow its own path upwards. I am not trying to change your bullish opinion of our markets. Its just that the negative facts coming out are far more negative than the positives. If the global markets start cracking from here, I doubt if India will stay behind and only go up. I am just waiting for us to close above the 100 DMA at 4627 for two of three consecutive days to come to a final conclusion. Meanwhile, you please carry on with your longs in full form and I also wish you all the best. Only one small suggestion from a friend is please keep your stop losses in place. Although I know you are a sensible trader who knows how to play his cards well and do not need any advice. But its just that, I would not like to see a repeat of january 2008. Its just all about that.

Hello bullsheerules,
What a farce ashwini and mohinder made of themselves when at closing market strategy, they advised short selling the nifty for targets of 4400. Those who follow them blindly will bite the dust now on monday when one can expect a gap up opening. These so called BS experts tend to go wrong so often. I have yet not built up longs but am seriously thinking of now as our markets are only getting stronger and stronger.
All the best,

Hello marketman,
I also vouch for what you have written. The fall in crude oil due to less demand actually translates into slower global growth and hence the bulls in the commodities markets are taking out profits in time which indirectly is also propelling our markets higher as can be seen as an example by the way the dow rallied up 302 points last night. It can be seen as the olympics commenced, crude sank to 115 dollars per barrel which was not seen in the past few months. I had also written earlier that once olympics starts and finishes crude should cool off as china happend to be a major consumer of crude in preperation for the olympics. Now its demand shall fall thus resulting in cooling of crude prices. Our markets should also rally, but it needs to be seen if conviction returns from the big players at higher levels. . Reliance is looking so weak since the past week and it is difficult to digest to see these markets go up without the support of large caps.
I will become bullish only if we close above 4627 the 100DMA for two or three consecutive days , otherwise it is plainly a bear market rally.
