With IC-814 in memory, India didn\\\\\\\\`t talk to terrorists-- whoever has written that article didn\\\\\\\\`t kept in mind ---had the hostages involved Big Shots--Celebrity or Political Clout People than the entire picture would have been different!!!!!!!!!! so pl note that Politics Rules in any decision making process!!!!!!!! ...

If terror groups had hoped to force India into negotiations with last week`s terror attacks in Mumbai, they were disappointed. Departing from past practice, the government stoutly refused to hold talks with terrorists and went on the counter offensive from the first minute.

why on earth we went negative and that to such extent , definately some factor beyond normal logic has played it`s game today.

Eventually all will know when the damage is done.

As for your analysis yes it looks we are in a temp upward move but it is going to be a hell of rollercoasters this month.

There is afunny line which i am foced to agree to sustain this DEc`08 series.

Jyada Dimag mat lagao, Agar woh deta hai to tumari takat tak lo aur magta hai hai to ghar khali kar ke deta raho, sab ghum phir ek din wahi ka wahi aane wala hai.

Meaning long-short sab kr liye paisa hai is mahine. But sabar karne ki samta banao.

Happy trading

Folks,

Tomorrow we might rally like anything.. Why coz our TRIN for sensex and nifty both overbought at 0.44 and 0.5 respectievly. The BULL power of Elder Ray is enormously bullish. The ADX and MACD both say GO LONG...and whats more the Sensex shows MACD BUY divergence too. So expect a rally tomorrow December 2nd.. if we open weak coz of dow jones then go long.. just my view.. i am never sure and have never been more than 50% right.. lets see.

Hi Netdo,

Sometimes i wonder what prevents the FM, PM or even CM of a certain state just out of the blue saying

WE HEAR THERE HAVE BEEN INSTANCES OF BRIBE TAKING IN THE OFFICES OF REGISTRARS. WE MIGHT INVESTIGATE THIS AND IT WILL MEAN LOSS OF JOBS AND PENALTY INCLUDING LOSS OF RETIREMENT BENEFITS and

that should take care and be a warning enough.

You think the CM here does not know every registar`s office in bangalore is corupt... one day i will expose these guys....

Do I detect a common theme in this list? Arrogant, uneducated, governance way over their head and of course open unashamed looting from the public office. But then, all these were elected by their people. They both deserve each other.

I am sorry Pranky, our Democrazy will not permit any improvement to the existing system. We are not only innocent like the rats (read citizens) looking for some one to bell the cat(read politicians)but also foolish that we expect the cat to wear the bell by itself!
Our voters will not elect a person whom they do not know and all those they know are corrupt, cunning and wicked. So forget any reforms.
Only a revolution is reqd to correct the system but we Indians are too self centered to initiate one.
I have a fear that things would go from bad to worse with Mayavati like politicians becoming more and more popular.
God save India...

yallapragada,

Yes true..spitting and noise these are the two worst qualities of Indians.

A small function a wedding then they put on blaring local music in the midst of a residential area

Spitting eeks dont ask, i am disgusted with all the spitting and flushign that goes on in our towns.

The earth is BOODEVI and spitting is a big sin. There is a time of the day when one clears their system but if there is a compulsion to spit often due to a medical condition then shouldnt they carry napkins and disposable bags.. why spoil roads.

Even if the road is terribly dirty i will not discard even a groundnut shell.. thats how i am made... all should follow me....

Dear Radhika Ji

Why Only Stop Spitting on the Road?

1. They spit on the road, knowing too well that many people go around without chappal.
2.They turn aside while driving a two-wheeler and spit into the wind. Knowing too well that there are others behind them.
3. They spit out a litre of red liquid bending down from a car window.
Knowing too well that it can turn onlookers sick.
4. They spit on walls. Knowing too well that they were white washed recently.
5.They spit out of a bus window. Knowing too well that they are on a busy road.

have not seen any of this.? Come visit Hyderabad.

Novice,

Well pai is not a political administrator yet. He is from the IT Industry and is expected to speak for the IT industry. If he is nagging and complaining and whining about it then an issue is to be made of it...

It was IT that put us on the world map not too long back.. it was IT that gave us the progress in the last 10 years or so...so those tax benefits are a kind of acknowledgement where it was due. Lets not read too much into these minor things. Yes as a high profile guy his voice is likely to be heard first. But that does not mean he is at fault. The fault is with the CM who gives in to the pressure tactics if at all it is pressure which i doubt....

In reply to:

rn,

I hope you are aware that Indian IT industry enjoys tax benefits under STPI act which lasts till 2010 which no other industry enjoys.

Indian IT industry saves more than 5000 crores per year due to tax benefits and IT industry demands the govt to extend the tax benefits for 10 more years.

TVM pai says due to this uncertainty in extending the tax benefits, India Inc lost 80000 jobs( though there is no proof for this, i will consider this for argument sake).

Let him answer these questions

1)Why cant Indian IT indusdry adjust with lesser NPM?

At one hand these people talk about free markets.. but when it comes to them..(?)

2)The same 5000 crores if spent on providing irrigation facilities in rural India, can irrigate 5 lakh acres of land which in turn can provide life 10 lakh people( that too after all the corruption .. the money eaten by politicians, contractors, engineers).

And not to talk about the employment opportunities provided in other sectors like steel and cement and transportation.

Why is our great TVM pai silent about this while he is vocal about the loss of 80000 jobs which nobody is really unsure of nor the govt can be blamed as these companies always had an option of exercising lesser margins to cope with the situation in the future?

Why is he silent about the suicides of of more than one lakh farmers?

Is it not misleading?

This is just a sample of how these people are misleading Indian middle class.

Do you know these companies do very low profile work which can be transferred to other countries as well very easily?

regards

Have they antogonised the monorities?.The so called minorities - and are they really minorities, in the true sense, are they suffering due to their status? - only felt so. When they stand for some ideology there can be some oppostion and it should not be taken as antogonising. Why you can`t say the other way?. The so called minorities antogonised majorities? It all happens because the socalled majorities are very mild people by nature....

Ramki,

But modi and advani have antagonized the minorities. If they had any political intelligence they wouldnt have antagonizsed them in the first place. i feel they dont have any diplomacy and politics one cannot shake off a tag so easily.. they will have to stick with this tag for the rest of their life.

Dear Mr Pranky
Is there any one arranging funds for the deceased in this horror. Please check and update in this board as there are many boarders who live abroad wish to send their contributions to the bereaved family. It is not going to reduce their grief- but certainly will help those poor deceased.Any charitable institution/Lions club/Rotary club has created any account head to help them- Please assist. Cheers
