BEML`s margin was 18,290.50 on yesterday`s EOD basis. Yup, lot-size is 125. Strategy is just the same for all counters ... buy in cash (equivalent of one lot) and keep shorting one current month`s future INTRDAY (opportunistically) to bring down your acquisition cost ! If by chance your cash shares tank very badly, down-average them by buying a future for the farther month - leaving the current month ONLY for shorting. Just my views.

Govt spending on infrastructure is expected to increase. Expenditure for defense, metros, mining etc will only increase. But why has the share reached such dismal levels. I have been averaging in lots of ten from 1000 levels. If any of you guys have an answer, please do reply....

Dear Dustock - with view of long term investment in had invested 2 lacs in mid and small caps 2 yrs back - now my portfolio is valued at 50000 - i am now having cash of approx 1 lacs - please advice how do i go about my investment to ensure that this amount of 1 lacs gives me multiple returns - regards Togu

Buy BEML if you can hold it for a long time. It is a very good company with Govt holding of 55 percent. One can have faith in Govt companies in this scary situation. Those who are real investers should not miss this counter at almost 1/3 of issue price. The company is not going to run away. So one who has spare money for long time can invest now and can have handsome return after a year or two. It can be held for lifetime as good wealth. I have bought at 347,306 & 290 and will buy at every dip in small quantity. Rest is up to you. Buy at your comfort....

The Stock has corrected around 80%..a company which is part of the Infrastructure story of India (Metro`s Earth Moving , etc)....is the story over..?
