What`s going to happen with TTML????

Just an ordinary Investor, no expert.
But I too hold quite a few shares of TTML. It is definitely good for Long term w.r.t. the current value, as there is ample scope for ur money getting trippled or qudruppled, or may be more, but with the history of the share being a very slow mover, the time it will take to reap benifits is very unpredicatable. I have had good information about ttsl(not ttml) but the signs of reverse merger(ttsl merging with ttml) are pretty bright and at least after a year things must be bright for ttml holders, ofcourse fingers need to be crossed towards the overall mrkt too....the only difference ttml has come across over the last 2 years is that its started to move with the market. best of luck to all share holders....

please express you views on this. on a regular interval we are getting news, regarding some buy out with some Japan telecom company or some merger with TTSL.... but seems nothing realistic.
I invested in TTML with high hopes but ......
Can we discuss our views or experiences with this script?
And the biggest question now is that when this bad time will over????

I see it has bottomed out at 16.40 way below its valuation that even in worst conditions has to be 20 plus....

It is indeed true that this stock has tested the investors` patience. All the same, it has also rewarded many who exited the stock above Rs 60/. It is a momentum stock, involving huge volumes and wide fluctuations. It is also news driven in that the price goes up when ever there is a talk of stake sale in tower business or sale of TTSL to some foreign company.
TTML is the listed company in which TTSL holds very large percentage of shares. Hence, performance of TTML affects TTSL and not the other way round. But, there is a common marketing strategy, common technology, some board members are common etc, leading to synergy. All this is without clash of interests because TTML operates in Mumbai, Maharashtra & Goa circles and TTSL operates in all other circles. Obviously, TTSL and TTML have to merge someday, perhaps a reverse merger of TTSL into TTML will take place and name of the combined entity will change.
TTML has an user base of between 5 and 6 million presently. TTSL has a base of above 23 million. TTML operates in denser but more competitive environment and is improving its performance steadily with new initiatives in products and innovative schemes all the time.As it is TTSL & TTML provide best service with least congestion.
TTML has received GSM spectrum in Mumbai circle and is expected to lauch GSM service by this year end thus affording it more flexibility. Additional expenditure on launch will be lesser when compared to competitors because its CDMA infrastructure will be utilised for GSM services as well.
TTSL & TTML , together, are expected to bid for 3G spectrum across all circles. Considering the investment that Tatas have been making in telecom space they are likely to bid aggressively to win the spectrum. That will be expensive. But, Tatas have the cash. That cannot be said of some other players. Besides, sale of stake in tower business and in stock of unlisted TTSL will generate adequate amount of cash. All this may push profits back by 2-3 more quarters. However, what you will have is a big company, fully integrated, with technical support of TCS and international support from Tata Communications(VSNL) and capable of competing with all other operators, with additional advantage of operating in both GSM and CDMA space. Not even RCom will have that synergy and support available.
In the present environment of economic gloom no stock is going to give great returns. By the time the market sentiment improves TTML would have totally come out of blues and will be a very attractive stock. Calm analysis will show that patience is definitely called for and will certainly be highly rewarding for those who have the capacity to wait out the adverse market conditions. I would buy the stock at these levels as and when I can spare some cash...

Please sell this co. The price may come down to Rs.10/- and further down. To reach the price of Rs.25/- or Rs.30/- it may take around 2 to 3 years.

As mentioned earlier, this news and tie up is with TTSL and NOT TTML.
It even says in the article posted above.

TTML is not able to sustain over 50 (Current Price: Rs 21.05) and here you are saying it will touch 400/- mark. I am holding 3500 @ 36,
but now I am feeling like trapped. This one is giving maximum negative in my portfolio. I think we should use some averaging mechanism and come out of this.......
I expected alot from this script but got only disappointment.

Totally agree time being TTML is best stock in telecom sector to invest at this price pls note that I am telling TTML is best telecom company obvously it is Airtel but pls try to understand Cost difference between both the shares & also pls check whether you will get more price appreciation in Main Bombay or Navi Mumbai your answer will Navi Mumbai because property price is lower than other part of Mumbai say Dadar or Colaba.....So go investing in TTML if you can.But anyway don`t sell TTML this is the stock which will touch around 400+ mark in next 5 year you can calculate how much profit you are getting

Do not worry. I have 5000 at a average of Rs 40. Sleep well. Do not commit the mistake by selling this great stock at a loss. This is a stock of a very clean good group with great respect for transperency and no artificial juggling with their own stocks. The cheapest Tata Stable stock and that too at a price of less than 100. No other Rs 10 paid stock of TAtas is valued this low. Hold on for generations, and your children will appreciate this move of yours. If possible buy more.

Market is really very difficult position and one has to do lot research going through the technicals and fundamentals (not working right now) and start picking it in small lots, may good not only for medium to long term investers but short term traders also....

Dear Investors,
TTML is not buy at this level as it has broken all support levels. Long term investors can still keep this stock as I see its price many fold in 1-3 years but short term guys must sell and recover thier investment whatever comes!
TTML if touches 17-18, is good deal for short term traders. Wait for this level.
