Good results delcared by Elder Pharma for the first quarter ended Jun-08. Total Income has gone up by 21.51% to Rs 1,476.53 million in the first quarter ended Jun-08 as compared to Rs 1,215.13 million for quarter ended Jun-07. The Net Profit is up by 16.31% to Rs 175.42 million for quarter ended Jun-08 as compared to Rs 150.82 million for quarter ended Jun-07.

As compared to previous Mar-08 quarter, the Total Income is down by 6.66% and Net Profit by 14.11%.

The EPS for quarter ended Jun-07 is Rs 9.3 as compared to Rs 8.12 for the same period last year. If current quarter’s EPS is annualized the EPS for FY-09 would be around Rs 37. At current market price of Rs 324.5 the PE is 8.77.
