Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd has informed the Exchange that :"M/s Some & Banerjee, Cost Accountants, Kolkata have been appointed as the Cost Auditors for audit of the cost accounts maintained by the Company in respect of petroleum industry i.e. refinery sector for the year 2008-09, with the approval of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt. of India. Further, in terms of sub-regulation 6 of regulation 13 of the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 1992 and other applicable provisions of the Listing agreement, etc. we are inform that, as per the disclosure received from M/s Some & Banerjee, Cost Accountants on 24.10.2008, none of the partners of the firm have any shareholding in BRPL"....

Bongaigaon Refineries and Petrochemicals has declared its second quarter results. The company's standalone net sales were at Rs 2,182.38 crore versus Rs 1,383.20 crore on YoY basis. Its standalone net loss was at Rs 81.15 crore versus net profit of Rs 113.23 crore on YoY basis....
