Il&Fs Investsmart Limited has informed the Exchange that pursuant to section 192A (2) of the Companies Act, 1956 read with the Companies (Passing of the Resolution by Postal Ballot) Rules, 2001 (Including any statutory modification or re-enactment thereof for the time being in force), that the resolution relating to the amendment to the Articles of Association of the Company is proposed to be passed by means of Postal Ballot. The Company has appointed Mr. Jayesh Bhagchandani, Practicing Chartered Accountant, as the Scrutinizer for conducting the Postal Ballot process in a fair and transparent manner. The duly completed postal ballot form should reach the Scrutinizer on or before the November 19, 2008. The Scrutinizer will submit his report to the Chairman after completion of the scrutiny of the Postal Ballot Forms and the results of the Postal Ballot will be announced on November 25, 2008. A copy of notice of the Postal Ballot shall be available on the NSE website (http://www.nseindia.com) under: Corporates > Latest Announcements and on the Extranet Server (/Common/Corporate Announcements)....
