I am surprised to find a lot of talks have already started like `bad days are over`,buy for LT etc etc on the very first day of mkt correction.I would like to share my views on this issue

Pl.find out to which catagory you belong

1.Investor (more than 3 years)
2.Traders ( a few months)
3 Traders ( a few days)

After selecting the stock in which you wish to invest,check its chart for 200,50 and 9 dema

Investors should get in to the scrip only when the price moves above 200 dema and stays there for few days.Similarly catagory 2 and 3 should go by 50 and 9 dema

After buying, the same levels can be kept as SL if you so desire.

Those who have a large PF,buy PEs to hedge,when the mkt goes up trim your PF to your comfort level.

Last but not the least,

When the butcher is sharpening the knife,the goat should not be thinking that he is going to cut the rope on its neck to free it but make use of that intermission to escape.

Yes, agree that as long as TD is listed and the other two are `going` to be listed and we do not sell our holdings,we can not say that we are ruined In this context let me tell you a story.

Mr X, doubting his wife`s fidelity,hired a private detective to watch her movements while he was away on a tour.On his return after a few days,the detective met him at his office and reported,

`Sir! On the day of your departure,your wife left the house at 12 noon and went to Rose Hotel`

Many of us who took this stock as investment grade are ruined and those who have traded are having free shares.However no regrets now when TCS ,IDFC and JSPL are reduced to trading grade,what can our poor TD do? Cheers...

There is a rumor of crisis emergeny meet by RBI officials. Can anyone confirm so that we can book profits?...

profits are not to be counted only in terms of rupees in the bank, they can also be counted in terms of number of shares gained free... when we are so confident in the long term of td touching 150, 250, 500, 1000 etc, then dont you think profits should be also placed in terms of risk free returns till those specific targets are reached... in terms of free shares? of course the risk here is that it may turn back and return to base much before hitting those targets, wiping out profits gained...but some people look at it as another opportunity to buy in again and make MORE shares free... there are enough people on this board, including the doomsdayers, who have made lakhs and lakhs of shares free...and that in turn means that there ARE people on board who HAVE made profits!!...cheers!!...
