Rightly said.. this stock was looking veryy week not too long ago.. lookign very strong today..once nifty comes in an intermediate uptrend this will rally...

The stock seems holding yesterday's price level, let operators push the price up, it is good in general. Today and also in near future if the sensex / nifty stocks pick up, this stock too would show improved price levels, every investor holding the stock has own target price, bit complex to expect the exact behaviour of the stock.

i guess you are correct..but buyers might be acvcumulating thinking operators are pushing this stock up....but this is not the case...they have already announced the results and they were on expecred lines...unless there is some news i dnt kno bout...

It is the keen buyers who are taking the price up, not the operators, whatever it be the stock is backed by good fundamentals and investors returns from the company, 100% final dividend and also expected interim dividend, in a falling market dividend yield matters a lot.

this rally in HCL Info was due...but i feel operators are psuhign this up... if u anyalze volumes data u will see how volumes have been picking up for this..onyl after it crossses 120 will it really start to rally..but very good moves today

parlty agree with you.. bought it at 120 and ever since it seems to be making new lows every day..even today it has not rallied but is down...though volumesd have increased ater its F&O addition..

Probably you are very right, also your long personal experience is good, dividend yield is attractive enough for long term hold, when the trend was bullish the stock was traded at 250+ level, with improvement in the market sentiment the stock would reach to higher price levels.

One shd advise ppl 2 hv patience in stocks like HCL-Infy,I think.U may get 8% on CMP ,like FD-interest.Tell me how many stocks including TATAS,BIRLAS .,etc r offering U div of 8% on ur invested amt?I have been watching this stock for the past 10+ years;It has never ditched the investors by & large. HCL-infy changes the plans con-temporarily to suit its\\` business.Now they r going to focus more on sys-integration activities.Though they have few non-performing divisions like peripherals, i\\`m sure they post good top&bottam lines & maintain the div-rate.Therefore, average now, get FD-rate & book profits, when it crosses Rs140+.fOR SHORT TERM TRADERS,nothing can be done & for MT< investors, definitely more chances r seen to reap reasonable benefits!

Wow 162 is a big price try to average it out if possible or else take the dividend may be in the next month end and then exit.
Or else wait till Diwali to reduce your losses definitely 162 is not a good price for this stock. Try to average it to 150. ...

finally this has stated rallying.. in august its 52 week low was 120 odd.. now it fell another 20% to make a low of 95 ...its started rallying and is looking veryy strong....shud cross 120 in the next few trrading sessions
