Punjab National Bank has informed BSE that the Bank has decided to increase the interest rate on domestic term deposits in various time slabs w.e.f. October 15, 2008. With this revision, peak rate shall be 10.50% in the slab of "1 year to less than 2 years"....

Punjab National Bank has informed the Exchange that "The Bank has decided to increase the interest rate on domestic term deposits in various time slabs w.e.f 15.10.2008. With this revision, peak rate shall be 10.50% in the slab rate of "1 year to less than 2 years"....

Looking at the data and chart, Expect PNB to go below 400 level in ST to MT with UPPER SL around 530!

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cut cash reserve ratio (CRR) by 50 basis points to 8.5%, effective from October 11.
The move will release Rs 20,000 crore in the banking system. The cut is temporary in nature.

"Liquidity management is a priority amid global uncertainty,” the RBI said....
