Religare Hichens Harrison Research has come out with its earning estimates on Shipping & Offshore Sector for the quarter ended September 2008. According to the research firm, Aban Offshore's September quarter sales are expected to go up 75.5% at Rs 2902 million (Rs 290.2 crore) on YoY basis.

I simply provide SOT (Speed of Trend) analysis figures, which can change a lot depending upon the EOD figures for a particular counter. My quoted figures indicate a RELATIVE trend, and, as I often caution, are not to be taken in an ABSOLUTE sense for taking any trading positions ! Regards, DU.

Aban will not go to 400 levels.. but it is likely that it will touch 3 digit mark.
Just look at the fate of Keppel Corp (the biggest in that sector). No fundamentals or technicals hold in these turbelent times.

:) I would have done that but looking at those reports which say that
a sizeable proportion of current global drilling rig orders will be cancelled in the light of global recession.
So that BEAR OPERATOR will work overtime on ABAN to ensure that ABAN goes to 400 level over a longer time frame ! :)

Well Sir, stocks of my choice are listed at my HomePage. And, even if these LISTED stocks tank by as much as 50%, they will not accrue me loss of even a penny. The secret to profits (and consequent wealth) lies in the choice of suitable EQUITY-MANAGEMENT OPERATIVES and not is any GRAND list of loss-proof stocks !
The list of stocks provided at my HomePage represents my personal choice. I prefer well-moving stocks (even if a bit too volatile) to purely defensive, long-term stocks. The reasons is simple ... I attempt extracting maximum juice (read `profit`) out of intraday and swing movements, rather than from some rigid term investment. Also, my positions remain 100% `covered` ALWAYS ... even if that compromises some of my profits ! Cheers....

Thanx for reply & spending your valuable time for the interest of small investors by sending SOT on stocks. Now I am requesting u that The market is so deep & may be go so deep, at that time please comunicate the list of the stocks which we shall BUY to cover our huge losses in future ? At the same time give the list of porspering stocks with LONG TERM basis of 10 years to earn HUGE profit with minimum risk. I hope & assure U shall do this as ur being DISTIGUISHED PERSONALITY.
For this act of kindness we shall remain greatful for u foraver.

I do agree he never recomnd he just indicate support level,it up tp you to accept his views or not,better not to criticise him,rather we should criticise those boarders who intentionaly for personal gains mislead us....

He is doing a very good service in MMB and many have benefited because of him.

I have been silently observing your SOT projections especially on ABAN never you have been wrong on your R1,R2 or R3 also the Support levels etc....,that too consistently,do not be bogged down by the other fellow passengers on the ride of bull/bear train ,staions will keep coming and these passengers will get down/entrain & the train will keep chuging ahead no matter what,in my opinion ,as one of the fellow investor ,investing in stock market from my fore fathers time and continuing their traditions these ups and down are part of the systems way of correcting and again going forwrd ,We are a devloping country,Therefore its destiny is only upward,belive me thses rough rides will also be over,as the saying goes "every thing in nature has two sides -sunlight and darkness, man and women, profit and loss,sky and earth......So You keep up your work it is in these trobled times that Men of Men will rise above the ashes and we on these board should team up together to support in pain and forgive men who can only vent out there fury on such boards let them be ,you keep up

I concur.Its not only DUStocks but ALL stock-market tipsters who have failed,in fact `Flash News` c/o Dalal Street Journal and one of the most expensive tipsters has given all losing tips and if one followed them then one would have been ruined eg they gave `Core Projects` as a strong buy just three days back and yesterday it fell by a whopping 43%!!
I subcribe to them `cause I make a note of their recommendations and also that of quality tipsters on CNBC etc and then by and large do the opposite.Believe me,it works!

Its ok yaar.........yes,interesting reading UR post..........Yes UR SOT analysis figures need SWOT analysis in these type of markets.Please do not use the words`half-baked``malicious`etc as this is NOT the method,please,to come to terms with UR stock-market losses.Remember ALL are stuck and a bit upset/possibly angry, with capital depreciation and not U alone.Regards.Jd.
P.S. Forget UR posts and SELL all as I expect the markets to collapse by another 30-40% in this global meltdown.
