Dear All, TCS today posted much better than expected results. It posted a consolidated net profit of Rs. 1290.61 Crores as against 1173.85 crores in same quarter last year. This is much better than CNBC\\`s expectation of 1230 Crores Also it posted huge jump in revenue which stood at 6410.7 crores as against revenue of 4179.00 crores in same quarter last year. TCS drives almost 50% revenue from US and rest for europe, india and others. Thus TCS is less dependent of USA as compared to Infy, Satyam and wipro. TCS also declared an interim divident of Rs.3/- per share It posted a EPS of 13.19 in this quarter which makes the stock much cheaper as compared to other large cap software giants. Thus i maintain a Strong BUY rating on TCS at these levels. I do not deny that TCS may fall further to 650 levels if market continues to fall, but then, then risks are limited and profits are huge.
