Essar Shipping Ltd. has informed the Exchange that the members of the Company at the Annual General Meeting held on September 27, 2008, have duly approved all the businesses as specified in the notice convening the meeting viz. :-1. Adoption of audited Profit & Loss Account for the year ended March 31, 2008 and the balance sheet as at that date together with the Report of the Directors and the Auditors thereon.2. Re-appointment of Mr. N. Srinivasan, Mr. Sanjay Mehta and Mr. Ravi Ruia as Directors of the Company, liable to retirement by rotation.3. Re-appointment of M/s. Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Chartered Accountants as the Statutory Auditors of the Company to hold office from the conclusion of this years Annual general Meeting upto the conclusion of the next year Annual General Meeting.4. Appointment of Mr. K. V. Krishnamurthy and Mr. Dilip J. Thakkar as Directors of the Company.5. Re-appointment of Mr. Sanjay Mehta as Managing Director of the Company for a period of three years w.e.f. September 18, 2008.6. Revision in the remuneration payable to Mr. V.
