All private sector banks are of the same type. all have the same problem. if you want your money soon then trade through stock broking agents. where you can deal with them over phone.

In my personal opinion, Axis Bank itself is one of the best private banks in the country as my association with it dates back to 2002, but the so called "Online Trading at Axis Bank, in collaboration with geojit, has shaken my faith in the concept of online trading because of the way my accounts are maintained by the persons concerned with online trading. Until a few days ago, I did not face any serious problem in connection with systematic updates in my trading as well as Banking accounts. In an equity market (environment) driven by negative sentiments, owing to global recession and its effects on our country, I am really taken aback for being made to run from pillar to post just to get what is my hard earned money, needless to mention that a part of which was borrowed and remaining part being a portion of my lifetime earning.
The problem started from the 11th of November when a sum of Rs. 8200.72 was to be transferred from my trading account, and subsequently get credited, to my Bank Account, after retaining two days from the date of redemption as they have been doing so either intensionally or under compulsion, which could have reflected in my Bank Account by the evening of 12/11/2008, but that did not happen. I contacted the Customer Care the next day in the first half where I got the confirmation that they had transferred my money on the 11th instant itself and I was asked to write a mail citing Transaction Message 3KIKNC8T, as given by him I did follow his instruction but to no avail. The next day a sum of Rs. 1468.45 was to be credited after doing their usual formalities, as mentione above, that also was missing in my Bank Account. On the 14th I got a mail from their end as follows: "----- Original Message -----

Dear Sir/Madam,Thank you for writing to us. Please take a note ,as per our record we have successfully transferred Rs 8200.72 on 11th Nov to your SB a/c and Rs 1468.45 on 12th Nov . You are kindly requested to confirm the same with your savings bank account . If you have any doubt please feel free to give us a call anytime during office hours, Monday through Friday 9AM -6.00 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM -1PM Toll Free - 1800-425-5502 (within India) or Paid Line - 0484-2402191 . Warm RegardsGeojit Customer Care Centre"
After that I, once again, contacted the Customer Care but the same answer was repeated and was asked to call Phone Banking, I did that as well but the lady on the phone did not have any idea and told me the case will be forwarded to the concerned Department. Checked my Account Balance, no improvement was found. Now I have Rs. 3452.70 in Cash Segment and Rs. 1502.70 F&O Segment of my online trading due for transfer on 17/11/2008 (Tomorrow). I am afraid I may have to face the same problem for this money as well . Imagine if you are going to loose your hard earned money on shares as well as on your broker what will be your fate?
Online trading is believed to the easiest way of doing trading but if you have to face the kind of problem that I have been facing then what is the need for it? One can only hope that the problem wont reach to the point where I have to go for legal action to claim what is due to me including compensation for the mental and physical torture inflicted on me and ofcourse the money I had to pay for making calls.
All my friends of our forum are requested lend me their valuable suggestions on this issue and I tender my sincere thanks, in advance, for their timely support.
