Dear Valuepick,

I verified that out of last four years data FY05-08, their september quarter results were bad compared to other quarters as you right stated the reasons. However, this time the quarterly results were 0, so I was surprised. They should have at least put in the notes saying that there isn`t any business for Q2FY09 due to heavy rains/floods.

Today I could see the Q2FY09 result. Strange behavior by promoters. The notes of the result says that:

Company has offered 1,00,00,000 convertible warrants, and each warrant shall be convertible at a price of Rs.123/- per share to the promoter and the same has been fully subscribed.

I am not aware of any announcement in Q2FY09 wherein they put this confirmed allotment to BSE.

I still can`t see the Q2 results on BSE even though results got declared on 31st Oct. Is there any other place can I get to see the results?

I also observe that for many stocks listed in BSE for which the Q2 results are declared, the results are shown in BSE while for some others, they aren`t shown. Why such discrepancy?

Can anyone explain why there is no business for alphageo for Q2 FY09. The data on NSE shows 0 income for Q2.

Net profit at 17.75 crore with EPS at 16.18/-.

Notes:
1. Company has majorly shifted to licensing model to maintain its profits.

Q2 FY09 EPS at 1.92/- per share (without MTM losses) and at -7.92/- per share due to MTM losses. These MTM losses are due to outstanding FCCBs.
