Opto Circuits can touch Rs 375-409: Gujral

Ashwani Gujral is a well known trader who also provides guidance on CNBC-TV18.
I believe there is going to be a very heavy selling pressure on Opto above 360. It may touch 375-409. But that may not happen if markets continue their weak trend as in this week.
Those who believe that it will touch 540 will be disappointed anyway as it will not happen this year at least.

I am starting this new thread so that people can post what they think is the true value of Opto share.
Kindly post what you are willing to pay today to hold for one year.
I hold opto @ 305. I can accumulate more if it dips below 330. Anything above 390 is very expensive and risky in my view. Ex-bonus is 160....

This being an open platform for general discussion all are welcome to air their views. Some people take advantage of this facility to misguide others by giving false information or targets (like 390 or 160) to achieve their nefareous means. Whereas, others like yourself who genuinely in the interest of other investors divulge important information which they feel will affect the future course of markets and if they receive any crticism for being pessimistic or otherwise that is no reason to loose heart. Each person has different viewpoints so there would be brickbats as well as plaudits that one has to take in his stride.
What we require on this platform are more intelligent people like yourself to air their views and information so that this site becomes a storehouse of important information for the benefit of others and for a healthy and beneficial ongoing discussion.
Sir, you must keep up the good work. However, my viewpoint is, irrespective of the bank closing for 3 days, inflation, recession in U.S., weak Rupee and so on, Indian markets are controlled by some extremely powerful forces who can make it go up or down at will. Otherwise, how can one explain Opto falling yesterday from 352 to 336 and today rising from 336 to 359 and likewise other shares.
I may be proved wrong but I would like to predict here that by record date in end Oct. Opto would have definately crossed 500 in the least.

It is a news item in a Tamil weekly website, giving the details of the banking system in America and in some branchs in(my) neighborhood. It particularly deals with the sufferings Indians face after the sub-prime crises in getting financial help.To my knowledge, they use these funds for investments in India and in other countries,through various agencies.
I posted that for the reason that a few days ago, ONE GUEST posted that how the posts sent by me on American banks affect the Indian share market and particularly 'opto-circuits'. One post even asked me whether I have any holding to comment on this share.
Ofcourse, I have holding shares of 'Opto Circuit'for concern and comment.I post the senerio on banking here in USA, just to alert Indian shareholders, particularly when we get signals here in USA, that market in India may not be benefitial during past one week. We know well that the strike for two days with holidays on Fri-Sat-sunday will add more concern in FII investments.
I am following foreign Exchange rates and hence I concerned with the news about banking strike and its effect over stock market and investments. So I posted a mail, which made some people to comment them as unrelated. It was just a warning to keep their money in their lockers for a week safely. See the fall in price in today market and how much would have been lost, for those who had bought them a few days ago, during the last week.
My request to all is to get all comments from all corners and take your own decisions for effecting deals in the market. This is applicable to you also, Sir. When you are informed fully, you are your own master for your decisions and actions. For,Information is power. Now I regret why have I posted such advance informations, for those who have no interest to hear, and allow what others say, particularly a divergent view. Infact OPTO CIRCUITs have taught me a lesson.
In Italy, there is a proverb. "Never tell your view, unless you are specifically called for".

GLOBAL MARKETS WEEKAHEAD - Worry spreads to emerging markets--Reuters.
The two day intermittant strike by bank employees on 18th and 20th will add to the misery of the traders.The NIFTY index will be certainly coming down the line to 3800 and no investor can have worth while trading .
Those who have DP and Trading account with banks may be hard hit, even if the market remain open. Now we can not put the blame on crude oil or FIIs and we have to carry the cross ourselves.
So it would be advisable to to avoid taking any cue from any one and follow your own pattern of trading for a week atleast.

Opto may look up or low. Both of you are seeing straight at a target over-Rs.500/- for the past three months.
When will will it announce the book closure for the payment of dividend and the record date for Bonus. There is no reason to with hold shareholders dividend too long, once the board has declared it two months back.
Do Karvy and MMBM have any reason to offer for the delay, to the share holders?
Why are they not seeing the tradition set by companies like Sundarm Finance or Sundaram Fastners? Karvy like market advisors are not using their forum or media to advise the companies.
