News Verification : The media had reports State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) of Oman may pick a 24.5% stake in Ansal APIs upcoming Township. The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company. Ansal Properties & Infrastructure Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, "There is no such proposal for our Megapolis Project. However, we have to inform you that negotiations are going on between the company and State General Reserve Fund, Ministry of Finance, Sultanate of Oman (SGRF) for their participation in one of the projects which is being executed by a subsidiary of the company. There is no proposal for SGRF participation in the Megapolis Project."...

With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily titled "Oman govt fund to pick up 24.5% Ansal township", Ansal Properties & Infrastructure Ltd has clarified to BSE that there is no such proposal for the Companys Megapolis Project.

However, the Company has informed that, negotiations are going on between the Company and State General Reserve Fund, Ministry of Finance, Sultanate of Oman (SGRF) for their participation in one of the projects which is being executed by a subsidiary of the Company. There is no proposal for SGRF participation in the Megapolis Project.

Further the Company has informed that, the officer mentioned in the news item is no longer in employment of the Company or in any way associated with the Company....

Ansal Properties & Infrastructure Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors, has noted the refund made by the Company of all the upfront amounts aggregating to Rs. 67,91,940/- received from the Employees / Directors of the Company and Star Estates Management Ltd., Subsidiary Company (in short "Option Holders") at time of granting of 1,16,700 Options to such Option Holders under Ansal API Employees / Directors Stock Options Scheme, 2006 (ESOS). The Board has also noted the consequent termination / closure of the ESOS upon the refund of the aforesaid upfront amount. The above has been given effect in terms of the approval granted by the Shareholders vide Special Resolution dated August 26, 2008 passed through Postal Ballot....

Buy as much as one can. Ansal Properties is a golden stock with some extra ordinary projects in the pipeline. will never come to these levels again.
