Dear Friend...
This is basically an investment policy which allows the fert co:s to increase production capacity and there by sell the aditional volume at decontrolled price....Urea in India costs 240 dollar a ton and its international price is 920 dollar a ton....Currently we are importing Urea from outside at higher cost...If Indian co:s go for expansion there would be a price band initially which may allow them to charge 60% of the International price...
Any way wait for the Policy to come out....

Sir , what is Urea Policy ? How is it going to benefit the sector. Govt will never allow free float price and remove the controls.

It has added Open interest with positive closing. It may spurt to around 10 pecent . I think subsidy money will start flowing from Sept. but that is pittance. The market has taken some time to digest .... so is the share price.
As murthyji said govt can no longer neglect the sector... may even sanction more subsidies immediately to keep fertiliser industry in good humour and to motivate the industry to operate at more than full capacity.
International price parity may influence Delhi to release more cash to the sector.
I may be wrong in my views. I hold Nagarjuna and do trade

Nagarjuna is good trading stock which occilates between 30-50. At 30 it should be bought and profit booking should be made at around 50-55. It gives handsome returns within short span of time. Buy the stock if it corrects towards 30 level

Technical Analyst, Ashwani Gujral is of the view that if Nagarjuna Fertilisers and Chemicals holds Rs 30-33 then it could be traded upto Rs 55-56 sort of levels.

in the coming 5 years no other sector can beat ferts ===it is the food and vitamins of plants ===goi has neglected this sector ==now repenting ====entire concentration on ferts ===without making any fuss tuckin some ===i have shares of sail purchased at 6 rs ==boi at 7 ==santhi gears at 30 ===all these purchased some 8 years ago ===one may get == 5000 pc profit == in ferts after 8-10 years ===one can wait for his children for 10 years...
