Your 200 shares were split into 1000 and 400 of them were bought back by company at 25 Rs. per share so you should have got 400 * 25 = 10,000 Rs in your account....

i had 200 shares ot FV OF rs. 10/share. when the stock split to FV OF rs. 2/share, i should i have received 1000 shares for my original 200 shares right?

HOWEVE RI GOT ONLY 600 SHARES..

isnt that a fraud?

did i get the right amount? what should i do and where do i complain about this?

Commitment of Thapars to their long term objective has always been weak. Sales of Ballarpur Ind are hugely down and net profits have also been more than halved.

There was also a buy back from the company from small shareholders. Just check whether u hv received from the company payment for 400 shares. If u hv not got the payment, u will hve to write to their Registrar. It cannot be a fraud. There may be some mistake somewhere....

Current quarter results are out and while sales are down marginally profits are down by almost 45%. Its beginning to hurt now......
