U R confused. There are two distinct things: 1) Record Date 2)Ex Date. Another point is 'No Delivery Start date/ End date'. In this case, the Ex date and No Delivery dates are the same i.e 08/08. Since U have sold on 9th, UR share will be delivered after 14th., which is the 'No Delivery' End date. If U had the shares credited in UR DMAT a/c, bonus shres would be credited to UR a/c after 18th as that is the Record date. In case it was in a broker's a/c, it would be credited there. If U hold them in physical form, pl. consult UR broker. ...

If U R nervous and desperate, there is another way: book partial profit. Sell 100 at cmp, which will reduce the holding price to of other 100 to about 200....
