Rolta has declared excellent results for FY-08 (June year end). Net Profit is up by 44.27% to Rs 2,629.4 million in FY-08 as compared to Rs 1,822.51 million for FY-07. Total Income is up by 41.76% to Rs 8,614.1 million in FY-08 as compared to Rs 6,076.66 million in FY-07. Included in this year’s Net Profit is Rs 301.8 million for exchange revaluation loss on FCCBs.

For the Jun-08 quarter the Net Profit is up by 3.81% to Rs 547.8 million as compared to Rs 527.72 million for Jun-08 quarter. The Total Income is up in Jun-08 quarter by 14.52% to Rs 1,995.2 million as compared to Rs 1,742.3 million in Jun-07 quarter. As the foreign exchange loss of Rs 301.8 million is booked in the last quarter, the growth is affected.

The reported EPS for FY-08 is Rs 16.2 (post 1:1 bonus in Jan-08) as compared to Rs 1,742.3 for FY-07. At current market price of Rs 281 the PE is 17.3. The Return on Equity is 20.16%.

The Book Value per share is Rs 81.04, this includes a direct adjustment of Rs 32.9 million for transitional provision on gratuity. Price to Book Value is 3.47. The market capitalization comes to Rs 13,039 million. Market Capitalization to Net Sales is 1.53.

The Company has declared increased dividend of 30% (post 1:1 bonus in Jan-08) on face value of Rs 10 as against 50% for last year.

The Consolidated Total Income is Rs 10,891.9 million and the attributable profit is Rs 2,305.9 million with an EPS of Rs 14.2.
