You will receive the dividend after the approval date in the next month i.e. Ocober.The earlier date was a record date. The dividend declared has to be approved in sharehloder meeting.

The merger of Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd (BRPL) with Indian Oil may not take place before the end of this fiscal due to investors’ resistance, as per Indian Oil sources. Having received Cabinet approval last year, both IOC and BRPL obtained shareholders’ approvals for the merger proposal in March this year and almost immediately approached the Department of Corporate Affairs for final approval.

U should decide. BRPL is stronger than IBSEC asset wise, But ISBEC has better management than BRPL. ...
