Everest Kanto Cylinder Limited has informed the Exchange that: "The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 17, 2008 inter alia : 1. Deliberated on the proposal for Buy Back of the equity shares of the Company and asked the management to revert with a more elaborate analysis and deferred the proposal for Buy Back. 2. Approved the investment of upto Rs. 1000 Lakhs by way of equity share capital and / or loan in a proposed 50:50 joint venture company in India with Distribuidora Shopping S.A., Tomasetto Achilles group, Argentina for carrying on the business of assembling/ manufacturing of CNG kits and related activities"....

is there any deep trouble in ekc?
i got to know that again the price for convertible bonds is going to revise?
china plant has yet not got any approval and in india billet and plate manufacturing plant is cancelled.
what will happen to the money invested in that as they were going to start manufacturing in march 2008 and haven`t start yet.
company had huge exposure with iran and heard that demand in iran has gone down confirm?
let me know is the company in real trouble?
i have purchased 1000shares@300....

i got to know that the everest is in deep trouble.
the price of convertible bond is revised and further again going to be revised.
the china plant has not got any approval
the american company taken over has got some problem and unable to show results.
billet plant which was to start is scraped.
and plate manufacturing plant is delayed for how long?
kindly let me know i have bought 1000 shares @ 300.
they had huge exposure in iran and iran market has gone down so how has it affected them....
