BHEL may one of the PSUs to pay a hefty Int.Dividend

GOI wants to collect s moch as money as possible before the end of this fiscal. I learn that the GOI has requested the PSUs to declare dividends early for the year ending March`09 so as to help the treasury to get some funds before the fiscal year or before the budget day so that a better picture of the economy may be projected, before going for the polls.
Perhaps all PSUs may be `tempted` to pay the last years dividend as interim dividend and may declare it as final at the time of AGM. BHEL will fall in line to their expectations and convene a board meet to fix a record date and pay the interim dividend at the earliest possible time. Let us wait and see.

God is greater than Greed
Posted by :

When there was money to be made, everybody forgot God. Little did we know that God is greater than Greed. Today, the greed of thousands has caused grief to millions across the world.
Unfortunately, people look up to the government for help, when the real power to change recession lies within them. The power to overcome recession lies in our prayers. Let’s pray that decision-makers have the courage and commonsense to correct the global recession. Let’s pray for those who are suffering. It’s time billions of people got together to change the world. It’s time billions of people prayed to God for help. The whole world needs to pray together. Let’s not console ourselves by thinking that recession is somebody else’s problem. Recession is a tsunami that will spare no one. For example, the unfortunate people who lose their job hurt the fortunate. Thus, both the unfortunate and the fortunate suffer.
Let’s not forget that we are here in this planet because of God. Let’s repent for our greed and ask for God’s forgiveness and strength. Let’s us all unite and pray together.

Though it`s growth story is intact but it`s P/E multiple is high & it will definitely adjust to the market P/E ....

The logic is very simple. BHEL still comands a much better P/E than the entire market. So, the sell off now has to come for the Biggies like BHEL. Perhaps it is for this reason that the Boarder here has given a target of 700 and odd.
