United Phosphorous Limited has informed the Exchange that the Board of Directors have, at their meeting held on July 24, 2008, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company, approved a bonus issue of equity shares in the ratio of One equity share of the Company of Rs.2/- each for every One equity share of the Company held by the shareholders of the Company as on a Record Date to be fixed later for this purpose.
