Tally,

you know only last week i heard Kishroe Biyani speak on CNBC TV18.. he said he fashioned all his stores based on Indian Mythology (Hindu mythology)

I wondered what it meant coz Biyani wasnt the explicit and Dev said it all in 5 minutes... i want a transcript of this... let me do a google to put it verbatim.

Also i wondered why Indian behave the way they behave and Dev provided the answers

As they say in Hinduism, when the disciple is ready the Guru arrives.

Mysore the land of sheer beauty

TED INDIA

The Infosys campus, where the event was held was truly impressive.

The buildings which were neo-colonial or Spanish or ultra modern, the clean roads and clean rooms and the do-not-walk-on-the-grass rule seemed rather un-Indian but it displayed what Indians can create.

More impressive than the infrastructure was the staff of Infosys, who treated you like their own personal guests.

Some of the highlights of the events for me were:

Meeting people from all over the world, each one curious about ideas and thoughts.

Kavita Ramdass’ talk that showed how the world can be shaped through tradition, rather than by rejecting it….something I firmly believe in

Abhay Deol’s talk on atypical Bollywood stories that are slowly emerging…he truly charmed the audience

Charles Anderson who showed the extraordinary migratory pattern of ordinary grasshoppers from India to Africa in search of fresh water.

The music of Mukul Deora that brought the most modern fusion music with the most ancient Kalaripayat dance

Anil (piano) and Sikkil (vocals) who blended Western classical music with Carnatic classical song without compromising on either

Harsha Bogle who showed how Indian cricket, through T20, expresses India’s growing comfort with capitalism

Tony Hsieh of the highly successful Zappos. com who revealed how people need perceived control and perceived growth to be happy

Romulus Whitaker who shared secrets of the King Cobra and the Indian Gharial

Shrivatsa Krishna, who shared so beautiful the plight of infrastructure in India, especially the Mumbai airport – why we cannot be China

Pranav Mistry’s fabulous Sixth Sense device
So much more…….

Get all of them on YOU TUBE

TC,

Okay done, we are coming full circle as an union of princely states as UK is watching and they may even launch a CENTRAL INDIA COMPANY IPO (similar to EAST INDIA COMPANY)before they begin to colonize us once again! This time though we could take them round malls and show them teddy bears, and we could sing the best of rock with them and also maybe be at our informal best in jeans.. last time we spun so much kaki and so many patriotic songs they must have run away from all the noise pollution by the kaki clads..... haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Whats worse many lazy landlords (our grandfathers) who dint want to work pretended they were boycotting British enterprise by staying away and whats worse began spinning Kaki at home giving our grandmothers very little time for any embroidery which they stealthily indulged in with glossy Coats Crafts(Britian) threads. LOL...

**
Core Programs
**
Control the political dominance of migrants and protect the opportunities of the Marathi Manus.

Migration from other States to Maharashtra has increased many-fold in the last few years. These illegal, unemployed migrants are claiming employment opportunities available in the State while the Marathi Manus is left unemployed and the farmers are forced to commit suicide. The political powers are also conniving to bypass the Marathi Manus and forcibly place the migrants in his position, causing the decline of the Marathi language and Marathi culture.

Maharashtra NavNirman Sena will thwart these efforts to give opportunities to outsiders at the cost of the Marathi person and ensure justice for the Marathi-speaking populace.

Insist on Marathi language and Marathi name-boards everywhere. After the linguistic reorganisation of States, the State of Maharashtra was formed for the Marathi-speaking population. In the struggle for United Maharashtra, millions came out on the streets, thousands were arrested and 106 were martyred in Mumbai – all out of deep love for the Marathi language.

Subsequently, the Maharashtra government passed the bill requiring all name-boards to be in Marathi. Maharashtra NavNirman Sena will ensure that this law is followed without exception. A culture exists only on the basis of a language, and a community exists only on the basis of its culture. Therefore, we must protect the Marathi language to protect the Marathi Manus. Make teaching of Marathi language compulsory in all schools in Maharashtra

Maharashtra NavNirman Sena insists that the Marathi language must be taught in all schools, whether they are public or private, rural or urban, whatever be its medium of instruction.

Micks,

I am serious, the NDTV News Readers consistently say

Srilanka HAVE won

India HAVE won

I am not kidding.. this is a new thing...previously it was HAS now its HAVE.. thats why i asked if grammar rules have changed.. What according to you is the correct thing?

You hear next time.. in the paper too they publish a HAVE after the country. India HAVE won.. i was perplexed.. you know me and grammar are poles apart and I always wish someone would point my mistakes so i can improve... and nothing like a virtual pointer. LOL.

btw Ayurveda always maintained Suryanamaskar is an important regimen.. Spotting the rising son and focussing on it is good is what Ayurveda believes...thats why gold is so important in Ayurved.

Yes gastronomic juices are at a high when you live in cold climes...

This post clearly shows your crass mentality and your upbringing thanks to your religion... While you talk of Theresa and Damien for Christianity you talk of Santosh Madhavan and Chandraswami as far as Hinduism is concerned... To me who is good is somebody who works selflessly for mankind without expecting anything in return... But then Theresa and Damien had the ulterior motive of conversion behind the service they did... They spent more on building Churches and conversions than upliftment of the poor... Look at Shivkumara swamy... He has ensured that over 20,000 get fed freely in his centres unlike missioniaries of charity that hardly feed a 1000 ! To to it not even one percent of those knowing Theresa have heard of Shivkumara swamy... That tells one and all what selfless service to mankind is all about. He does not go about building temples... But builds schools and colleges... He does not believe in converting people to what he believes in... That is what selfless service is all about... Want to really believe in it... Get yourself a dog and bring it up better than you do with your child... Then you will realize what I am talking about... I bet you cannot and therein lies your true self you tripe...

PS: All people who serve with religion in mind are crass... Cause selfless service rises above religion... Something you or your religion does not understand... But keep posting... After all this is a free board... Where you are Harshadketan represent the same side of the coin! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha... ROFL......

Do you know why Karantaka loves BJP??

Radhika,

I look only at people & their character, whether they are good or bad, not their religion.

Who denounced or spoke about Gods?
Not me.

There are good & bad elements everywhere & in every religion, Christian, Hindu or Musilm.

I respect Mother Teresa or Father Damien because they are good people who did selfless service, not just because they are christian by birth.

One swamy santhosh madhavan or one Chandra Swami or bofors deal or some swamis who commited rape can`t spoil
the good princiles of Hindiusm, I think.

Same way, some bad missionary who is doing social service, give education or distribute clothes with selfish motives
can`t spoil Christ`s teachings which are the basis of Christian values.

I think such elements are the reason for your concern. But not all are like that, trust me.

Regards,
Aby

Madhuri is the best dancer i have seen to date.... oh how i would love to do all those numbers and learn it from Saroj Khan.. what say Micks, shall we? LOL... Tu cheez badi hai mast mast.... they showed this today.. and you know that professional act Raveena is putting on is all thanks to Saroj Khan... they also showed Ranbir dancing the Saawariya number.... what a talented woman

Did you know she was married at 13 to one sohanlal who was 41 years old. LOL.. grandfather or husband. LOL... she acted in one picture TAMANA as a 3 year old as she sat on the moon.

okay you will write somethign about Madhuri`s dance numbers tezaab and those looks and shakes... you should put it like i can capture the image as i read your post.... and appreciation of Saroj khan should be part of it....
