This thread is started with the request of a friend. I would be greatful if you all pour in your views because we should now look forward and its not that bad to be optimistic sometimes. We have suffered a lot. This is the thread of hope.

Thanks and Regards To All

Will NSG outcome, global cues really spook mkts next week?

Posted by : MMB Messenger

The markets may not have to wake up to bad cues from global markets on Monday morning. Another meeting is scheduled soon but so far there has been no conclusion at all out of the NSG meeting in Vienna. So that remains something that the market will react to either way on Monday morning.

Sure I will like to do that...I main concern is that they should be avialble during market hours, and the security is also a top most concern...

No, they dont mess. its good one. They have various schemes according to your trading needs. Drop after market hours today to their office and open one if you are really convinced. ok

08 Sep 2008 10:48

yea radhika,
i took a demo 1 year back but at their office only. They dont give their software CD/DVD to check out at our places. Visit their office, take your own sweet time and check out the functionality of the software for 1-2 days. If you are really convinced take the pro-version.

take care ...

Yes Nifty can reach 5000 level if :

1) Crude comes in a range of $ 95 to 105.
2) Inflation maintains a downward movement.
3) Bovespa tanks below 50k.
4) No major political crises event happens.
5) Overall SENTIMENT turns positive....

vam,

you should switch from ICICI to some other broking house. HDFC is better i understand thats if you want a bank else take sharekhan.

BTW i just bought one put 4500 for Rs 107... just now.. the dow is looking bearish technically although TRIN is not indicating extreme bearishness. I just bought one put..

Nope i dont have sharekhan but callahan has and if he says its good i guess it must be good coz he is a very systematic guy when it comes to money so the ledger entires must be transparent......

Is sharekhan good? I mean they will not do a margin trading with your money or stocks? any problems you have faced?

08 Sep 2008 10:42

true radhika, icici is only for checking price after market hours and nothing else. thats it. i have really suffered with icici. yea sharekhan is good too what i have heard. There is a mushrooming of portals in last 1-2 years. Its better to stick to a good one in spite of a little extra charge because it will be a real havoc if one fine morning you see your asset register empty. And it has happened in the past.

Have a good day and enjoy the market ride today

Yes i agree with you, NOTHING like ICICI... BUT they are always down whats the point.. just keep it for checking price of scrips and portfolio but use HDFC for trade....if not take sharekhan... yes pvt nonbanking players have access to our money and their ledgers are not very clear i understand.

But with NSG, GLOBAL CUES and stabilizing inflation we cannot scale beyond 180 points on nifty, so tomorrow will we really rally if dow rallies today... dow might rally first half but may not second half as the bail out for fannie and freddie also means they are so fragile. Anyway i will but one put tomorrow.. just bought one today....

Wall Street may cheer if Fannie, Freddie bailout reduces market volatility

NEW YORK (AP) -- Wall Street finally got what it\\`s been angling for: a bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that could aid a recovery of the broken U.S. housing market and arrest a slide in stock and credit markets worldwide.

Overall, the move is a positive for banks around the world, including Citigroup Inc., Merrill Lynch & Co. and UBS AG that invested in U.S. mortgages, according to Daniel Alpert, managing director at the investment bank Westwood Capital. And in electronic trading Sunday evening, futures for the major U.S. stock indexes all rose about 2 percent.
