Although this thread has lost in this doom.I have created this thread once again.
We dont know the bottom yet, this is one of the best times to invest with a selective stocks for longterm with 3 to 5 years view.If you got stuck with high prices, try to average and make you average price to low.You should have the guts to invest when every body are cut loose. There are great stocks with a rock bottom price like GUJ NRE COKE,IDFC,IFCI,PTC,RNRL,RPL the list goes on and also some circuit stocks like Reliance industrial infra and JSW holdings and i should also mention NDTV.....
Just goahead if you have cash, you are not going to be let down.No market has crashed more than 50% in historical data.GO-AHEAD!!!!!

cheers,

Dear googol, good morning, namaskar, pranaam,

It is great yaar. You put almost everything in those few lines.

After seeing the mkt reports and expert comments day in and day out, I get a feeling that I am somehwere in the space floating with lost wings. I cannot see anything and hear anything. When sun rises, it seems to be night and when moon flashs it seems to be too hot.

After reading your msg I am trying to learn maths. When I put 2 and 2 together, it becomes 8. I try 2 x 2 and it turns to be 3. So I use 8-3 and the result becomes 1. Again I try with 1 x 1 and it becomes 15. Finally I tried 15-15+15x15 and it turned to be 2. Now I am happy as I reached from where I started.

Have a nice day.

RPL production has started; but Mukesh Ambani will not speak anything before Dec 28, 2008.

He wants to make Dhirubhais birthday as birthday of RPL.

Call it coincidence or history repeating itself, the world`s least expensive car `Nano` is likely to be rolled out around the time Ratan Tata celebrates his 71st birthday on December 28, just as the `Indica` was launched a decade ago when he turned 61.

According to informed sources, Tata Motors is working on a plan to launch the `People`s Car`, as Tata fondly refers to, to coincide with his birthday with about 10,000 units being readied to be rolled-out from the company`s facilities in Pune and Pantnagar.

Momentum is running against the market and you don`t want to get hit by a train. Morons like you who don`t understand the stock markets will lose money & give advice bad advice to others.

Crude is currently way too expensive and may fall to the $60 a barrel range as the economy worsens. The markets will be going further from these levels. Refinery margins will also go down from here & can go through the floor. At the same time, demand continues to falter so the cracks are quickly adding up.

Just grow up & come with your real ID, if you have guts. It takes time to recover from the kind of drops occurring now, nothing gonna change in next six months. Expectations for a rapid recovery ia like expecting a cricket play who`s suffered a serious knee injury to start playing at full speed right away.

Global markets are also doing very bad. The Dow and S&P are now back to 1998 levels, meaning we`re 10 years into the latest period of prolonged market malaise.

So, don’t try to be a rock star & follow the trends. Keep your cash with you. Invest in gold & soyabean.
Sunny!

When the situation normalizes, you will be a fool to know the actual buyers of RPL shares in these markets. It may be one of your neighbours accumulating RPL at these levels.

RPL is a six bagger; wait till it reaches Rs 1000.

Patience may be tested but your conviction will be rewarded.

It`s okay to feel the fear.

But it`s not okay to react to it.

Panicking and making big changes in your accounts is likely to do a heck of a lot more damage than a recession ever could.

Based on valuations and the current economy,
I would stick my neck out and say I would buy the index now and

I am pretty confident that in at least six months to one year you will definitely get at least a 90% upside.

Dear googol, namaskar.

Yes, I went through your quote earlier.

I got profit mostly on my sales prior to 21K. From 21K to 14K, I sold a few stocks like RIL, power grid, ambuja, ongc - all part only.

Recently I lost 20K for my sale of Digvijay cement, as the company was referred to BFIR. Thats the one which I sold on loss. Others are in the godown. No rent for the ware house, as I am the owner of it. Some of them are marked with green ink while most of them are in red. And it is a colour, which can be changed according to the season.

Season changes. I am fully aware of it being in the marketing line for about 3 decades.

This time .... Yea, it may take more time. And time tells the real story.

So let us move with the time.

How are you, dear?

SENSEX can go to any levels as this is a free fall. There are no levels really to look for.

Unfortunately, I do not track MTNL. It sounds like you are a long term ivestor. You can stay invested in RPL for now if your perspective is 3 to 5 years. Do not try to add more from these levels. You will get it cheap later.

All the best!

It takes time to recover from the kind of drops occurring now. As the world loses confidence in the foundations of its economic system, the silver lining may be that oil prices are about to get a whole lot cheaper. crude is currently way too expensive and may fall to the $60 a barrel range as the economy worsens. As night follows day, low oil prices have always followed high prices, and the decline has always been swifter than the advance.

Also, the global margin pressure will start inclining & thats not a great news for refineries like RPL. I see RPL going below 100 levels in short run. It can drift even below 100 levels.

Only buy RPL if you are buying for 3 to 5 years investment plan in your mind.

Sunny!

Yes not to buy now is the right solution. Friday when U.S. recovered a bit from deep, the optimistic investors commented market is returning. U.S is in a bad position and is on the edge of severe recession which will be history - a world war type. There is no any immediate miracle in such conditions other than a one day recovery. My advice is not to listen to any analysts buy recomm at this stage. There is going to be further steep fall - Watch for a bottom of 66-67 in RPL, ofcourse future is very bright when situation normalizes. I am observing the senior Indian analysts recomms couple of weeks back giving support level to stock, and saw prices falling like thundering storms, even 1/3rd in last 10-15 days. Still I see some vested interest analysts giving recommendation, ICICI has investment in HDIL and ICICI gave a strong buy call when price was 230 for a target of 690/-, horrible to see the stock falling to 91 yesterday!!!! SO AVOID ANY BUY AND SAVE YOUR WHATEVER IS LEFT. There is nothing blue. Is C.J Mathews a magician to say index dont fall below 10,000 when there is nothing to support the market fall.
