Aegis Logistics Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to an Order dated August 08, 2008, the Honble High Court of Gujarat at Ahmedabad has directed that a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of the Company will be held on September 27, 2008 for the purpose of considering, and if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation of Tapi Finvest India Pvt. Ltd ("Transferor Company") into Aegis Logistics Ltd ("Transferee Company") and their respective shareholders and creditors....

Aegis Logistics Limited is an India-based provider logistics solution for oil, gas and chemicals. The Company offers services, such as sourcing of product, storage and port operations, arranging road and pipeline movement, shipping, and integrated supply chain management. It operates through two divisions: liquid logistics division and gas division. The product areas under the liquid logistics division include petroleum, petrochemical and specialty chemicals. In association with Hindustan Aegis LPG Bottling Company Ltd, the Company operates a 20,000 metric tons fully-refrigerated liquid petroleum gas (LPG) terminal. It imports, markets and distributes bulk propane and LPG to a range of industrial customers in the western region and is a private sector supplier in India. The Company also offers gas storage and handling to various LPG bulk suppliers on an open user terminal basis.
Aegis Logistics Limited Q4FY08 result was good. Total Income has increased from 77.56 to 110.08 Sales Turnover of the company is gone up from 77.06 to 109.56 operating profit has gone up from 9.97 to 11.91 and the net profit has increased from 7.37 to 7.79.
I recommend you to buy and hold the stock with long term perspective at current price and any dip. ...
