Essar Shipping Ltd has announced the following Unaudited results for the quarter ended June 30, 2008:

The Company has posted a net loss of Rs 116.00 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to net profit of Rs 711.50 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007. Total Income has increased from Rs 2176.10 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 to Rs 3416.50 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.

The Consolidated results are as follows:
