Mixed results by Era Infra Engg for the first quarter ended Jun-08. Total Income has gone up by 48.38% to Rs 4,032.07 million in the first quarter ended Jun-08 as compared to Rs 2,717.39 million for quarter ended Jun-07. The Net Profit is down by 14.27% to Rs 284.01 million for quarter ended Jun-08 as compared to Rs 331.28 million for quarter ended Jun-07.

The Operating Profit margin has gone down by 316 bps to 22.17% in Jun-08 quarter as compared to 25.33% for the same period last year. Moreover interest has gone up by 151% of Rs 388.45 million and depreciation has increased by 112% to Rs 74.94 million.

As compared to Mar-08 on quarter to quarter basis, the Total Income is down by 35.18% and the Net Profit by 22.75%.

The EPS for quarter ended Jun-08 is Rs 12.29 as compared to Rs 14.34 for the same period last year. If current quarter’s EPS is annualized the EPS for FY-09 would be around Rs 49. At current market price of Rs 527.8 the PE is 10.8.
