Market likely to move sideways advance tax numbers awaited:
Dalal Street is likely to witness a lacklustre session this week tracking global markets, which are also expected to trade in a limited range.

Trading will be sideways this week in the downside. if nifty break 5K Mark than will see 4800 again. The market will see a gradual crawling movement with a nagative biaa.

the March quarter advance tax payment numbers, which are expected on Monday, if good, will give a push to the market But the market rallied quite a lot after the Union Budget. It is now consolidating. Advance tax numbers will act as a domestic trigger for short term.

The US Federal Open Market Committee meeting on March 16 to discuss the monetary-policy strategy and to give a description of the economy is also keenly awaited.

"The FOMC meet will give an idea as to where the interest rate is heading in the US. This will act as a big trigger for the US market, which have been rangebound for quite sometime, and in turn will impact Indian stocks.

The BSE Sensex rose for the fifth straight week, its biggest stretch of weekly gains since June 2009. The key index gained one per cent to close at 17,166.62 points over the week even as traders booked profit on select stocks.

The market has once again remained range bound but above the crucial supports of 5070. Technically the market is expected to have a big day in the next trading session, trend is still intact but profit booking in upper regions not ruled out.

India`s economy seen growing over 7 per cent in 2009/10: PM

India`s economy should grow more than 7 per cent in the fiscal year 2009/10 and return to a 9 per cent annual growth rate in two years, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said in a prepared speech on Sunday.

"Despite the global economic slowdown, we hope to achieve growth rate of over 7 per cent in the current financial year," Singh said in a speech prepared for a business gathering in Saudi Arabia.

"We expect to get back to the growth level of about 9 per cent per annum within two years," he said.

India`s economy grew by 6 per cent in the fourth quarter through December from a year earlier, the government said on Friday.

India`s economy grew 6.7 per cent in 2008/09, slower than 9 per cent or more in the previous three years.

A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door.

SON: `Mummy, may I ask you a question?`

MUM: `Yeah sure, what it is?` replied the woman.

SON: `Mummy, how much do you make an hour?`

MUM: `That`s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?` the woman said angrily.
SON: `I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?`

MUM: `If you must know, I make R 50 an hour.`

SON: `Oh,` the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: `Mummy, may I please borrow R25?`

The mother was furious, `If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don`t work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.`

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door..

The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy`s questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down , and started to think:

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that R25.00 and she really didn`t ask for money very often. The woman went to the door of the little boy`s room and opened the door.

`Are you asleep, son?` She asked.

`No Mummy, I`m awake,` replied the boy.

`I`ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier` said the woman. `It`s been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here`s the R25 you asked for.`

The little boy sat straight up, smiling. `Oh, thank you Mummy!` he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.

The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother.

`Why do you want more money if you already have some?` the mother grumbled.

`Because I didn`t have enough, but now I do,` the little boy replied.

`Mummy, I have R50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.`

The mother was crushed. She put his arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness.

It`s just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that R50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art..

When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas,

There was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands..

He said, `Sir, you don`t know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly... He often talked about you, and your love for art.` The young man held out this package. `I know this isn`t much. I`m not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this.`

The father

Opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture.. `Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It`s a gift.`

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

The man died a few months later.. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.

On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. `We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?`

There was silence..

Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, `We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one.`

But the auctioneer persisted. `Will somebody bid for this painting? Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?`

Another voice angrily. `We didn`t come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Gogh`s, the Rembrandts.. Get on with the

Real bids!`

But still the auctioneer continued. `The son! The son! Who`ll take the son?`

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. `I`ll give $10 for the painting...` Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

`We have $10, who will bid $20?`

`Give it to him for $10. Let`s see the masters.`

The crowd was becoming angry. They didn`t want the picture of the son.

They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel. `Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!`

A man sitting on the second row shouted, `Now let`s get on with the collection!`

The auctioneer laid down his gavel. `I`m sorry, the auction is over.`

`What about the paintings?`

`I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.

The man who took the son gets everything!`

Long Time Friend

A while ago, my Dad met a stranger who was new to our small town. From the beginning, Dad was fascinated with
this enchanting newcomer and soon invited him to live with our family. The stranger was quickly accepted and was around from then on.

As I grew up, I never questioned his place in my family. In my young mind, he had a special niche. My parents were complementary instructors: Mom taught me
good from evil, and Dad taught me to obey. But the stranger...he was our storyteller. He would keep us spellbound for hours on end with adventures, mysteries and comedies.

If I wanted to know anything about politics, history or science, he always knew the answers about the past, understood the present and even seemed able to predict the future! He took my family to the first major league
ball game. He made me laugh, and he made me cry.

The stranger never stopped talking, but Dad didn`t seem to mind.Sometimes, Mom would get up quietly while the rest of us were shushing each other to listen to what he had to say,and she would go to the kitchen for peace and quiet (I
wonder now if she ever prayed for the stranger to leave)

Dad ruled our household with certain moral convictions, but the stranger never felt obligated to honour them.

Profanity, for example, was not allowed in our home...Not from us, our friends or any visitors. Our long-time visitor, however, got away with four-letter words
that burned my ears and made my dad squirm and my mother blush.

My Dad didn`t permit the liberal use of alcohol. But the stranger encouraged us to try it on a regular basis. He made cigarettes look cool, cigars manly and
pipes distinguished.

He talked freely (much too freely!) about sex. His comments were sometimes blatant, sometimes suggestive, and
generally embarrassing.

I now know that my early concepts about relationships were influenced strongly by the stranger.Time after time, he opposed the values of my parents, yet he was seldom rebuked... And NEVER asked to leave.

More than fifty years have passed since the stranger moved in with our family. He has blended right in and is not
nearly as fascinating as he was at first. Still, ifyou could walk into my parents` den today, you would still find him sitting over in his corner, waiting for someone to listen to him talk and watch him draw his pictures.

His name?....

We just call him `TV.`

(Note: This should be required reading for every household!)

He has a wife now....We call her

`Computer.`

Their first child`s name

`Cell Phone`.

and Second child is called

`I Pod`

Dear Supreet

here is an article by CHO S. RAMASWAMY is a well-known political analyst, actor, dramatist and editor of Tamil magazine Tughlak - (one of my favourite writers)
on the same MF Husain topic

NOW THAT M.F. Husain has settled in Qatar where there is total freedom, he is free of the shackles imposed by the Indian system on freedom of expression. All those who appreciate his art would now eagerly await his imaginative paintings of the leaders of Qatari society, hopefully not artistically clothed.
His fans would not expect him to confine nudity to Hindu deities alone; it would extend to all the religions. Having already painted his mother, daughter and Muslim kings fully robed, Mr Husain, being the freed citizen that he is now in Qatar, should be prepared to remove those clothes.

How can the artist in him be satisfied with seeing Saraswati and Parvati alone in the nude? Fortunately for art in the nude, the courts here cannot do anything to Mr Husain now that he has run away from the Indian judicial system. All the cases could be now buried amidst the pictures drawn by him. Both would mercifully go to the dustbin. I am very anxious not to get branded as communal in my thinking. I want to be hailed as a secularist and so I would say with all the force I can command that Mr Husain has the inalienable right to depict the Hindu deities in the most obscene manner while taking care to paint even non-religious Muslims fully clothed. He can claim that because he hates Hitler he painted him in the nude so he could humiliate him and in the same breath justify his nude pictures of Hindu goddesses as depiction of purity.

And because I am secular, I would also assert that his not returning to India is only to gain freedom from the Indian fascism and not to avoid being apprehended by the law enforcers in this country. Being a liberal-minded artist, he naturally is not able to put up with the protests which do not harm him in any way. Shunning the Indian system and preferring the Qatar environment is not an act of hypocrisy but one of liberal, secular and free thought. And now that Mr Husain has established himself as such a stout campaigner for free expression, I must believe firmly that he will forcefully plead with his new protectors in Qatar to roll out of a bit of that red carpet to Taslima Nasreen, another hounded victim from the literary world.

Abhayji

In Satyug Manipulation was done for good deeds thats why it was SATYUG.

In Kalyug Manipulation will be done for bad deeds all the time. This is basic.

I will tell you a personal experience i faced when i was involved in a noble cause, my friend is a CTO of a company (IT) he and me along with 3 other friends we took a building in lease and purpose was to provide free accommodation to poor people from our village who need medication and cannot find place to stay in city.

Within 2 months of this free service every local newspaper in my village covered news how we are getting villagers here and selling there organs. This hurt us so much we thought we will STOP it and then we went into further details to find out the local MLA who is against us in fear of lossing vote bank started this propaganda.

This is why we have to be mentally very strong to do what we want to do in Kalyug, and if we stick to honesty the path will only get tougher and tougher. But thats the fun.

Regards
