Hi All,
Guess it (52 wk low stats) is of no use now.
80 to 90% of the scripts are below their 52 week low. It is high time for MMB (or rather moneycontrol) to introduce additonal columns like 2yr low and 3 yr low.
If it is too much effort.. then consider adding `All time high` and `All time low` columns.
What you say buddies..!? Hope most of you agree with the suggestion.
Regards,
Sri ...

It all depends how imaginative our PM and FM are. Being a good person is not enough. India needs leadership of highly imaginative persons who are relatively young (40+ to 55-) who can stay longer.
-UQ-
Dear Kalidas ji,
It is my understanding, from your previous posts, that the trio (PC/Reddy/Damodaran) lacks imaginative skills.
Now PC is same. (Finance minister)
Damodaran replaced by Bhave (puppet in my opninion i.e almost all SEBI chairmans)
Y.V.Reddy gave way to D.Subbarao(puppet in my opninion i.e almost all RBI governor`s)
Any change in your opinion, now considering the changes...! Is the latest team good enough..?
-Q-

I believe you are one of the qualified person. But you are 5000 miles away from many many years. You know what I am trying to say..!
Have you ever felt that `I could have done better, in terms of social wealth, If I had stayed back In India`..!?

Solution is already there, but the US Administration did not listen to me or respond to my letter. As I have stated before, I am the only person in the world who has solution to US problem. I am not boasting or not telling you out of ego. Whatever actions taken by Paulson and Bernanke are terribly wrong. They are printing their way out of the problem.
-UQ-
You may be right in claiming `I am the only person in the world who has solution to US problem`. But what is the use when it is only known to you.?
(who has to listen didn`t listen... for who wants to listen, you say it is not time yet :sigh:)
Just wondering are there any similarites in between You and Emperor Nero..!
Regards,
Sri
(just a `Johnnie Walker` thought.. don`t take it as personal)

I questioned his take over only one ground - he bought when the GBP was at highest, Steel prices were at highest, and stock prices at highest. how could he expect to make money. And where was he, when he could have bought Steel Authority of India which was trading at Rs 5 at the height of crisis a few years ago? The stock SAIL then went up to over Rs 160 or so.
-UQ-
Kalidas Ji,
Agree with the points mentioned. But I have some doubts. Appreciate if you can clear them.
(1) What is the Fair value of Corus.? Do you think Ratan Tata paid higher Value, not Price, in acquiring Corus.!
(long term investment for retail investors might be 2 years, 3 years or at the best 5 years. But for persons like Ratan Tata it could be something like 10 to 20 years)
(2) Is SAIL on sale a few years ago?
