Dredging Corporation Of India Limited has informed the Exchange that "Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways vide its letter No. PO-28028/26/2004-DCI dated 2/9/08 conveyed the acceptance of resignation tendered by Cmde.G.V.Ratnam, Director (Operations and Technical) to the post of Director (Operations and Technical) vide his letter dated 21/7/2008 and that he has been relieved from the services of the Corporation w.e.f.17-09-2008 A.N. (2) we have to inform you that Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways vide Its letter No. PO-28028/12/2004-DCI dated 29/9/08 conveyed that it has been decided with the approval of the Honble Minister (S, RT&H) to assign the additional charge of the duties for the post of director (Operations & Technical), DCI to Shri P.Sreedharan, Chief General Manager, DCI, w.e.f 18th September 2008 for a period upto 17th December 2008 or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier". ...

Dredging Corporation of India Ltd has informed BSE that the shareholders at the 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 29, 2008, inter alia, have unanimously declared dividend of 150% including 75% interim dividend declared by the Board in its 227th meeting held on February 27, 2008 on equity shares of Rs 10/- each in the paid up capital of the company out of the profits for the year 2007-08 as recommended by the Board. The net amount of final divided payable would be Rs 7.50 per equity share of Rs 10/- each....

I had entered this stock at 580 a year ago and had an exit in just one month at 775. But that time was quite different. Fair value for this stock is around 450-460. When there is bull run it may go up to 500 then you should exit and re enter at 415-420 again. That would be a long cycle but there is no other choice. You should buy few more now and along with that you should exit over 500. Nifty should reach 4700-4800 for the last time in this round to come and then market may have a pause for 2 years. Better buy now more and exit all stocks when nifty reach 4750-4800 because after that there would be only stock specific run. Rest is up to you.I have bought today at 418 and would hold till 500.
