Ramsarup Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Register of Members & Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from November 21, 2008 to November 29, 2008 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of payment of dividend & Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company to be held on November 29, 2008 and also for the determining the eligibility of shareholders of Ramsarup Lohh Udyog Ltd (Transferor Company) for allotment of shares of Ramsarup Industries Ltd in the ratio of 2:5 as per merger scheme approved by the Honble Calcutta High Court....

Ramsarup Industries Limited has informed the Exchange that Board of directors in their duly convened meeting on October 31, 2008 has transacted inter alia the following : (1) Approved the Appointment of Mr K Krishna Rai and Mr M. S. Aftab as an additional Director. (2) Approved the Notice convening the Annual General Meeting of the Company on November 29, 2008. (3) The Register of Members and Share Transfer Books will remain closed from November 21, 2008 to November 29, 2008 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of AGM as well as payment of dividend if approved by the members of the Company in their ensuing Annual General Meeting. (4) Further, please note that November 21, 2008 to November 29, 2008 will also be the Book Closure date for determining the eligibility of shareholders of Ramsarup Lohh Udyog Limited (Transferor Company) for allotment of shares of Ramsarup Industries Limited in the ratio of 2:5 as per merger scheme approved by the Honble Calcutta High Court....
