Dubai world and Nikkil Group have total debt of 59bl dollar. Dubai govt total debt 8000cr dollar. Abudabi the neighbour of dubai has surplus fund 69bl dollar and it can help to takeout dubai from crisis. And it is not default payment it is only delay payment. Fundamentally this crisis cannot make high impact on global. But this news fell the investor sentiments due to which all global mkts is falling...

Asian stock markets are falling, tracking falls in European markets which saw their biggest one-day losses in seven months after Dubai World asked for more time to meet its debt obligations.
Japan`s Nikkei 225 was down 2.0%, Australia`s S&P/ASX 200 was down 2.5%, New Zealand`s NZX-50 lost 1.3% while South Korea`s Kospi Composite was down 2.1%. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were recently 187 points lower in screen trade.
Japanese exporter stocks were weaker as the yen`s climb against the U.S. dollar reached heights not seen in over a decade.
India can also suffer from panic selling. Banks are expected to fall further from these levels. It will be interesting to see how much exposure Indian banks have in Dubai.
It`s time to review the strategies.
My targets are:
1) NIFTY 4800.
2) Crude Oil 70 USD / barell.
3) DOW 10,000
Regards
Sunny!...

sharekhan view on bharti
Q"In fact we have been very bullish at these levels on Bharti, RComm and because of the sentiment this might have happened but really a cash generating company like Bharti at 280 levels is extremely good and we expect a double rate from here within 1-1.5 year for Bharti. Even RComm is extremely good at 170 levels."UQ ...

yes karshin you are absolutely right there is so much hidden value in theses stocks it will come out only if these babus start performing and become accountable to public...
jp will behave like ril after ex bonus date announcement will go to 250-270 level than fall to 110(ex bonus)...
Naughty though chart does not suggest bullish trend, but you would see reversal sooner than later
FII are accumulating both bharti and rcom throgh local fund manager who otherwise bearish on stock
telecom story is very much intact only it is passing bad whetehr, probably created one ,soon big fish will eat smalll one by inciting tariff war as small fish ca not sustain this and will succumb soon
By inciting concept of losing margin will try to get 3G spectrum at much lower rate than expected, again looting the gov case
Still india has 600 million without telephone(wire and wireless) as GDP will grow user no and usage will go up
Hence i strongly believe both bharti and rcom will double from here within a year or so

NHPC recently successfuly did IPO alloted 180crores share at upper band of book building Rs36 which comes to 36X FY10 earnning which is very expensive for PSU
Now retail investors are stuck as it is trading below its price
Gov has diluted around 15% stakestill around 85% with gov
Gov should issue 2:1 bonus (As R Power did when they realised they were expensive and overpriced)in that way Gov has to dilute around 80 crores share which will bring down Gov holding to below 75% as FM has suggested in budget speech for all listing co and also for investors each share price would go down to Rs24 which is around 22X FY10 earnning still a bit over price but acceptable by doing so
1)Gov would generate confidence of investors
2)Gov stake would be 75%
3)For new PSU and PSU FPO gov would get highly positive response from retail investors andHNI and other as well
Let Gov be fair with investors who trust them and put hard earn money for their issues
Greed of gov would not yield anything for them except public anger
Be follow good CG norms
