Axis Bank is expected to come up with strong results this season. Short term target is 610 for stock and medium term (one year) target is 1023

Angel Broking has come out with its earning estimates on Banking sector for the quarter ended December 2008. According to the research firm, Axis Bank`s total income, for the quarter ended December 2008, is expected to go up by 37.7% at Rs 1,701 crore.

Expected net profit is Rs.491 crores for the quarter ended Dec. 08.
Axis may touch Rs.596/- level in short term if results come as per expectations.
