Engineers India Limited has informed the Exchange that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of the Company shall be held on September 19,2008 and the Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company shall remain closed from September 12,2008 to September 19,2008 (both days inclusive) to ascertain the names of the shareholders entitled to the final dividend for the year 2007-2008. The Company further informs that the dividend for the financial year 2007-2008 on equity shares of the company shall be paid on September 23,2008, if declared at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company....

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs 506.317 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 380.721 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.
